Hi David, really helpful, thanks I was just looking at mine and found your video. Can I ask if you know about the black lining on the edge of the weights. Bits have peeled off on mine. I was wondering if it was insulation and if it will affect the spark/ function of the advancer? Or to reduce friction? Thanks, Dan
I’ve been thinking about it and I asked a few friends and I don’t have an answer for you. I don’t remember anything on mine. I’d just put it together and see how it runs. Sorry I can’t be more help. I still have to finish putting that motor together. Good luck
