Here's a fun little tidbit about Escanor not seen in the anime (which is a shame because i'd love to see it animated), years ago the Sins had to deal with some vampires, Escanor in night form, dodged the Vampire King's attacks ALL night, then when the sun rose, squared up with him and demanded an apology for being 'born in my world'
Escanor vs Estarossa finally begins. The finale of season 2 is probably the best part of this anime, full of action, epic fights and an introduction to the story of Meliodas and Liz and the topic of their curse.
did you notice everyone’s been resurrected due to their hatred for anyone in the world and Zaratras or however you spell it only hated himself for not seeing dreyfus was being controlled therefore he’d theoretically stay resurrected so long as he continues to hate himself

The real reason why Estarossa's power did not affect him is because the graces have resistance against the commandments and are immune.
