The story gets better actually but the animation takes a big hit

season 4 was really confusing and rewatching it I was kind of bored (maybe that was because i knew what was happening though)

Honestly fraudrin realizing how much his actions destroyed Meliodas once he realized what it meant to love is one of the best moments in the story
The last seasons are not that bad, its mainly the animation and even this is not "UNWATCHABLE" you just have too lower animation expectations thats it

Idk what people are talking about with later seasons. Personally i really enjoy them. I honestly barley even notice what people are talking about with lower animation. I think the story starts getting so good you can totally forget about that stuff.
You should watch the movie: prisoners of the sky before season 3, because it happens right after this and then season three continues after the movie.
season 4 animation was restored tbh so its just 3 thats badish in animation(some episodes anyways)

I think its better to read the manga than to watch the rest and wonder what could have been, had a different studio animated it. The animation is dreadful, but the story is great. Manga is the way to go, but I guess that not many will agree.

0:34 so s3 story is probably the best story wise out of all the seasons, but the animation took a hit in some scenes. If you can handle 90/2000 ish animation it won’t bother you.

I'd say the story is still good if not better season 3 and onwards, its just that animation is pretty bad in season 3. After season 3 animation gets better, but its not by alot so its better to keep your expectations low. That being said, imma still watch all dem reactions 😋
Season 4 starts to get a bit meh Story-wise at the very end due to a rushed final arc after a WAY too drawn out previous arc, but overall, S4 is okay and S3 is carried by its plot.
