This is a great explanation on how to play this grove. You make a difficult looking groove look simple. The only additional thing that would help beginners like me is a drum chart notation that would make it easier to follow when practicing. Just a few bars!

Great lesson . In one of The Animals performances, the drummer seemed to be doing a roll with just his left hand as he did the ride pattern . Could you shed some light on what the drummer was doing ?

I practice while watching the tv with sticks from a long paint brushes and use my mouse pad as practice pad. Works great...

This is the groove for the song / super,
But there is more in that song. No? More todo with snare, fills. Can you show me those too? We are starting up a (band) and they want this song tobe our first project to work for. It has to be perfect and then we continue…
