Seriously these guys need to make a movie where the soundtrack is all their music
In an enterview i think they said that all Starset songs are soundtracks of their own music video, and even the ones without a video were composed like that and still tell a story

Underrated? They're very big in the mainstream. Monsters, trials carnivore, my demons, and a few others all made rounds through the heavy rotations at radio stations.
Radio stations be like "We play the heaviest, hardest rock songs.....and now here is one direction"

BMI s are already in development. Imagine what the governments will do if they have literal control over their people. This is what the world will look like. People will be so desperate for any “synthetic stimulation” that they will allow the government to treat them like slaves. Our best chance would be to not ever link our brains to machines because who knows if machines will take us over. We need to force evolution through biological ways, DNA editing, artificial eyes, prosthetic limbs, or better yet, turn the body itself into a vehicle 🤯

What if this was a lead up to Perfect Machine as a Music video. But Dustin who played that guy in this music video. Was salvaged into a perfect machine, When his heart was imported to the machine. And was programmed to hunt down any resistance, Even the one he loved. What I mean by this is, this part in Perfect Machine: “Lay your heart into my perfect machine, I will use it to protect you from me”. Instead of hurting her. He resist the programming and fights back against those SWAT Looking guys, I don’t know what they are called in this Era of Starset but, I’m sure we could see where this goes. I’m eager to see a Perfect Machine music video! Keep up the great work Dustin! You got this!

In Perfect Machine, Dustin sings about a relationship in which he acted like someone else from the beginning, making it seem like evil intent to get to her heart. This goes on until the second chorus plays, in which he then explains that it was all to protect her from the person he’s hiding. In the end, it’s then said that he hopes it was just playing pretend on both sides because though he made it seem like his goal, he didn’t intend to hurt her after all.
In the context of DIVISIONS' lore, the song could also refer to the power of the BMI (Brain Machine Interface), which allows people to live in a synthetic, ideal world through their minds. This ensures that the citizens of New West and New East remain docile and subservient since the “perfect machine” that is the BMI allows them to escape reality.
The bridge of the song can be interpreted as the narrator subconsciously understanding that their world is nothing but an illusion, but being powerless to do anything about it.

Alright, I adore Starset and I loved this video, but that doesn't mean I don't think this was incredibly weird. I don't even mean the narrative, but more so the execution of it. Again, I really loved the video, but it was still that kind of really weird that makes me smile.

That was dark, and also awesome, and answers some questions, but raises more. You guys are so cool.
The twist is as the story plays out at that point. It went from being fun and games and apps and banking to seemingly having technical issues, to being tracked, to being imprisoned inside if they wanted, to them taking your money out of your accounts to a "system crash" "" and some kinda .."a.i" steps in merging to ur dna, to the further future were your born into slavery you still are connected but only for work purposes... it's a sequence of events. Starting from being sold on how great the tech is to everyone HAVING to get it to total dominance...

If you've never been to a Starset concert, I highly recommend it because I have never seen a concert that was louder or had such a theatrical set up. It was seriously amazing and their costumes were everything! The voice was 100% accurate! Great new song!
I was supposed to see them here in Florida but it got postponed I think.😕

@@metalflorida That's lousy! The one I was referring to I saw at the Amway Center in Florida for the 98 Rockfest. If it makes any difference, they're worth the wait. Plus, they've released a few new songs since then they'll hopefully perform. I know I wanted to see them at the House In Blues recently... hoping that this Coronavirus stuff ends so I can go.
