Usogui is the absolute pinnacle of fiction in terms of realistic impressiveness. It’s the best piece of writing I have ever read in my life literally nothing comes close.
It is peak fiction. Totally worth a read but starts off a little slow but the later arcs make up for that being some of the best manga arcs I ever read.
I watched this as I started reading and wondered how the FUCK any of that in the bottom video was going to be relevant to this whacky gambling series with funny "Ur big liar :D" moments. After I finished Usogui, I now realize that literally everything in the video makes complete sense and objectively speaking everything from Tower of Karma onwards is the best piece of literature in the last 1000 years.

Just a rant im gonna write for the video besides stl: Beating heart correlates to baku's lost heart A shot at an island (stl location) Earth turning around, year passing (probably leap second) Shots of posion (self explanotory) Shots of emperors and kings appearing (probably corelates to "kaiser" plotline) Aliens appearing (we are aliens that have come to invade this planet souichi schizo moment vs fukourou) Hyper thingy that appeared idk what is but lets just pretend its something that happens when ur on rhe verge of death "They forced me to disappear" is probably the best one, it can mean a lot of things, a loooot First one, kakerou banishing people and forcing them to disappear FROM THIS WORLD Second one, souichi's personalities in his inner mind forcing others to disappear because he messed something up and wasn't "perfect" (manical joker laughter kinda fits) And third one, stl related theory that you completely disappear after loss, everything you've ever had disappears, connections, money and your life (personally i find souichi part more profound but that's the thing, this video isnt related to usogui whatsoever and by some coincidence you can match almost every event that happens in the video to usogui, specifically stl and protoporos/air poker)

i started usogui august of 2022 and finished two days ago and let me tell you... i didnt like it one bit, even tower of karma (one of the better arcs) i thought was mid with a lot of flaws but god oh god when i got to bookstore i knew this series was special. this video perfectly simulates what surpassing the leader is about. everytime i think about this arc my brain gets fried because of how insane it was to read. bookstore -> protoporos -> air poker -> surpassing the leader is the best stretch in literature.
I started to read usogui and at the moment I m at ch. 97 (where Baku try to pass to the guy the surpassing the leader alibi) and I m asking to myself how all the things below going to happen?
