Just ordered a Swift Kon Tiki Sport 560 at the weekend but not delivered until Jan/Feb next year, so i'm loving all these superb videos you've done over the years, great viewing for me being a newbie to the motorhome world. Thanks very much Bob..
Me & my husband Mike didn't have a clue and both you and Jenny's videos we have followed weekly and have found them really helpful thank you both. Now subscribed we will enjoy viewing your journeys and advice in the future. We are going the NEC on Thursday so hope to learn more about Motorhoming.
Good advice with the fire extinguisher is to regularly turn it upside down to keep the powder loose. They have a tendancy to pack hard inside the unit which could cause them either to not work or not work well.
When I started caravanning about 13 years ago, after several sleeping bags, duvets etc I also bought a Duvalet, and have to agree it is the best for a comfortable nights sleep. Easily rolls up for storage.
Useful video. Although I’ve been using a Motorhome for quite sometime I’ve never seen the HEOS water cap. It looks a very useful piece of kit especially as I fill the water up on my own and often get wet 💦 and also fed up standing holding the hose whilst the tank fills! Thanks for the tip!👍🏼
great list thanks Bob. I'd add a watering can to it as well . it's been and invaluable addition for us especially in hot countries where a hose pipe filling a full tank isn't so welcome !!
Very useful video, thanks Bob. Do you ever need to use a third levelling ramp, when there is a slope which slopes from left to right and downwards or is this impractical?
Great video as always Bob, in France the breathalyser isn't a legal requirement anymore, they're just a recommendation but are a requirement for HGV's and it is law to have a spare pair of glasses thou...
Most electric cables are a standard 25metre length. I've only ever needed longer than that once, on a Belgian site. As for hoses, I get by with a fairly short 10 metre hose. I put some links in the description on the video, below.
Might I suggest that, as well as the 25m hook up cable, for the UK and Europe, one needs two short extension hook up leads: one with a uk 3 square pin (to hook up at home) and one with a European 2 round pin plug (for those sites that still have the old style electric points - I assure you they exist).
Enjoyed the blog bob as usual excuse the wording. I see you have a bolero we have one too do you struggle with the storage sometimes I.e awning, windbreaker chairs etc we love the layout but probably next time look at a garage area. We have724 Fb Regards Wayne

Robert Crouch yes, we bought the Duvalay sleeping bags when we had to make up the bed and they stored in the top locker.
Thank you for all your advice, really useful to a newbie
Good idea to have this series of videos for beginners!

great list thanks Bob. I'd add a watering can to it as well . it's been and invaluable addition for us especially in hot countries where a hose pipe filling a full tank isn't so welcome !!
justin linnane I dream of being in a hot country!
Very useful video, thanks Bob. Do you ever need to use a third levelling ramp, when there is a slope which slopes from left to right and downwards or is this impractical?
No two are enough, if the pitch was that uneven I'd be looking elsewhere!
Fantastic tips. Many thanks
Bob really usefull video especially for sourcing the accessories.

Hi Bob, spare glasses are required in Spain.. I had to buy a second pair two years ago
robert parker while I was making the video I found 3 spare pairs of Jenny's glasses!

What length hook up cable and hose would you recommend.

Hi Bob, how long do you recommend for a food grade hosepipe? Thanks
20 metres is usually long enough in all cases like this one amzn.to/3cnk2B1
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Thanks Bob, very helpful 👍
Most essential of all...everything must be beige 😉
Could you tell me which window vacuum you use please? I saw it in one of your videos but I can't find it now. Thanks
We got the Kärcher WV1, but wish we'd bought the kit with the spray bottle.

Wayne Flanagan sometimes it's a struggle especially when we take the awning. We prefer the lower beds than the ones you get with a garage layout.
Bob Earnshaw I agree love the layout and the low bed. We have only had it since October so will see how we get on
Swapped from a eldis caravan
wonderful
Thanks
well done !
Thanks bob
Thank you Mr. Earnshaw, very informative video

You'll be in bother, putting ramps and grip mats on the kitchen table 🙈😂🙈
Lorez hopefully she didn't see that yet...
Great tips. I'd have included a steering wheel in my essentials list though. :-D Looking forward to the next 2 videos. :-)
