    Thanks Rachael, this is inspiring , so many young people are now leaving the rat race behind, life abroad can feel like being on a hamster wheel, you feel like your progressing but you work so hard just to pay bills and survive.

      This ! All of this is so so true! I just want to keep showing people that they have very real alternative options, but also to consider all aspects

      Figure out where u r going to stay for the first 5 years and don't be in a hurry to spend your savings....there are many people hear who will be ready to help u spend. Use your social connections well....live within your means. (Advise from former Analyst from Wells Fargo to Lecturer)

    I appreciated the candour of the guests in talking about their experiences as being bosses and running their family business. I think it’s a good lesson that you really don’t have to have it all figured out to start something/business.

    Great interview, Rachael!!! Loved the honesty of the siblings. Having worked in hospitality myself, I can identify & completely understand (thought I'm in the u.S.). And I LOVE seeing you rocking your hair naturally! You were killing it in that dress! Looking professional and FOINE in the same breath. ;-)
    This was very enlightening!! Great video!!! 😀

    Yes to the micro managing. It's not how often you show up its what you do when you show up. Ugandans are yet to shift their perspective from processes to results.

    I have a question, How did they handle the student loans that they have in Canada. Most People are stuck in Trying to get the Student Loan sorted and its sad. they want to leave

    • @RachaelNalumu
      @RachaelNalumu  Місяць тому

      Great question ! They were international students so it perhaps was different for them. For others I know of, you just pay monthly whatever you can. You can negotiate your payments.
