SPECIES #9: COMMON CARP (CYPRINUS CARPIO)

What many people refer to as a trash fish. The widely distributed and plentiful common carp is an extremely fun fish to target. Even the smallest of carp will put up a fight that is worthy of any angler. In this episode we will be using European pva bait bags to target these carp.

They are fun fighters. My boy's first fish was a carp on a spiderman pole. It was larger than him. Your transportation mode is a great idea. Nice cat.

Carp are an awesome fish for all ages. I didn’t catch it in the video that well but when my daughter saw the first carp it took her breath away!

I tried it once and honestly didn’t mind the taste, it was all of the pin bones I couldn’t get past. Do you fillet these out or just eat around them?

@@FishQuest No, I don't fillet any fish, I've been fishing and eating them since I was 6, just got really good at separating bones lol

@@FishQuest I love coarse salt and pepper. I crush a bunch of garlic cloves in olive oil or sour cream to top the fish when it's on the plate. I make some polenta on the side. Getting hungry just thinking about it lol
