Since this video has been taking off lately and people are wondering what this level is, it's a custom made level from a fan game named Back in Time. It includes a level maker, so you can make your own levels, just like in Mario Maker. There are literally thousands of these levels and some are even much harder than this. This is the type of level that will force you to do it all in one sitting. Cause pausing the game for a breather and to come back will definitely screw any momentum you might've had. On top of that, it would definitely have me letting out a sigh of relief when it's done. The fact that you're not even allowed to breathe or take a break for a SECOND is crazy.

No offense, but if you've ever done Platinum Relics in a Crash game, this level is really no different in theory or practice. It's all just chaining precise movements. The only difference is that here, it means dying, and in regular Crash, you're just resetting since you know you aren't getting the platinum relic

@@natelewis5171 they aren't too terribly bad in Crash 1, only a handful of levels took me over an hour to get them on. Once you get your first few, the rest follow pretty quickly.
It's an autoscrolling level that has pixel perfect gaps for the first half, then an okay second half that immediately presents you with a downward sloping corridor of bouncy blocks. Getting through that needs pixel perfect movement or divine intervention, because you have maaaaaaybe 4 seconds total to get through it before the deathwall catches you.
I think my brain just exploded 🤯. Not only would the endless tnts and nitros make me wanna cry. The fact that there's almost 1000 boxes is near insanity.

im not a crash bandicoot fan, so when i first saw this i thought it was awfully easy, then saw the nitro being lighted up by tnt and thinking "huh, this actually looks pretty hard" then i saw him step on a nitro and blow up instantly and i realized how hard this is
It's more like Stormy Ascent and Future Tense arguing who's the hardest level around, and here's Nitro Fun sitting in the darkest corner of the bar, coming out and calling the both of them amateurs straight to their faces.
After Crash 4, the hardest level is Toxic Tunnels. Anyway, I've seen much harder custom levels than this, but they're either much longer or the kind where every move has to be frame perfect, so completing them just isn't feasible.

Some hard levels are just frustrating, and this sure had its moments too, but I actually had a lot of fun with this one. It was really satisfying when I was able to pull off the stuff that had cost me tens of lives.
This is not possible in the original three Crash games or the N. Sane Trilogy remakes, but it is possible in “Crash Bandicoot Back In Time”, the fangame this level was made for. (Relatedly, I believe It’s About Time is the only official Crash game to also let you do this.)
I didn't know you could slide over TNT and Nitro crates. That definitely wasn't in the older games. Making any contact with Nitro causes it to explode.

The flashback tapes were pretty easy. It's the golden skulls that are dumb because resetting the level takes more than 30 seconds.

The death was intentional, but not necessary. I later realized you can make it through there alive, but I decided not to redo the video.

I'd say give it a try. I ended up enjoying it a lot. It's pretty hard, but nothing really feels unfair. Just a really good challenge.
