I still adore her. She made an album last year with a few great songs. "Big Girls" is fantastic. This song, I always felt, was winking at those mentally lazy people who rely on TV (and now the Internet) to inform their opinions and overall sensibilities, morals, etc... Those to whom it would never occur to read a freaking book... Without pictures And the entertainment that catered to the lowest common denominator. And still does. Like "reality" shows today. Her writing was always a bit literary and still is. My absolute favorite song of hers is "Jealousy" reminds me of my friendship of almost 30 with my good friend Tiffany, who lives in Reno. We met at work and instantly bonded the second we started chatting. We shared similar intellect, cultural references and sense of humor and taste in music, movies and literature. We became very close which bothered my wife at the time, although she and I shared zero romantic or physical Attraction. It's just that it was strange to meet the yin to my yang and connect on that level. Thanks for sharing this song.
