Hauling out our massive 25m steel ship was quite a challenge.
Maneuvering the boat through a very narrow channel to the ship yard was the first big challenge.
For us this was the first haul out ever.
We never took a ship out of the water before and an 82ft steel vessel is not the best choice for the first haul out.
Overall it was really tricky and we are so glad that the guys from the ship yard solved all upcoming problems.
But what will we find at the bottom of the ship?
Will the underwater part be okay?

Just to give you an overview what this channel is all about. We bought this massive steel trawler. Which once was a tall Ship.
On the long run we plan to converter her back into a topsail schooner. The timeframe for that will be 5 to 10 Years.
So we are in for a long journey.
But we already use this ship as our home. So you can expect videos about projects, about traveling and about living on a floating refit.
