A friend just bought a 23 Enclave. Was pleasantly surprised at how nice it is on the inside. Really nicely done. Top notch materials…fit & finish….smooth & quiet. Never thought I’d shop Buick, but definitely would. We have a great local dealer too with a good service department.
I just got the Preferred in Red this weekend. I test drove 8 vehicles around the same price point and kept coming back to the Envision. A lot of people hate on Buick, but this is my 3rd Buick. (had one Chevy also). I'm 35, so I'm not 97 like everyone assumes the average Buick driver is. I would've loved an Avenir in that blue color with the white/beige interior. There was a 2021 on Carmax that I considered, but I thought going brand new made more sense. I got the Preferred one for just under 32k, so I think I got a solid deal.
I bought a new 2021 Envision Avenir and like almost everything about it - EXCEPT - the shifter in the center console area ( I see they've changed it to be located on the steering column now ) After three years of driving mine, I STILL find myself having to look down to see what lever to pull up on - this new one looks like it will be much easier to operate, without having to look down at it. In my opinion, it IS worth the extra money for the Avenir trim - I've been buying or ordering vehicles with every option available for many years, starting with my first car - 1974 Firebird Formula 400 . . . "You Only Get ONE Life . . Then, You'll Be Dead For A LONG Time" !!!
I can’t stand the push/pull button shifters. I’m glad to see them getting away from those. And I’m with you on buying cars that are optioned out and fun! I have no interest in driving a bare bones cheap car for 20 years. Maybe not the best financial decisions but as you said..YOLO
I was seriously considering the envision as I was so impressed with it looked and heard great things about it, but I will not buy a car built in China.
Interior nighttime ambient lighting was attractive on the 2021-23 models, but the 2024 models have enhanced their lighting capabilities with an option of changing colors. An Envision would be my preference over the Lexus NX or Toyota Venza - better value.
Great review! Thanks for pointing out that the passenger seat is height adjustable, even though manual. That is important to me, especially if I’m the passenger. I think this has a lot of content for the price, especially in Preferred trim.
Absolutely love the redesign including the front….incorporating the Wildcat Futuristic design was a great move for Buick! 43,000 and change for the ST with the C/C package and moonroof is a great price. I have ordered one!!
@@lionroaring7021 No problem buying items not made in China except for most of our drugs. Inch by inch China is owning us so to speak, but then too they are much smarter than us.
43k for a car made in China? Jokes aside how tf is it cheaper for GM to build cars there and ship them back to the USA? Mexico I can understand but China? Theirs a whole damn ocean between us! 🤦♂️ I wanted one of these but this just bothers the hell outta me.
Such a huge price jump from the Envista to Envision. Dumbest thing Buick should change though is charging for literally EVERY color paint job. One or two "premium" paints, sure, but everything? C'mon.
The Encore GX sits above the Envista and below the Envision in the lineup. This is despite the physical size of the Envista being larger than the Encore GX is some dimensions.
I'm sorry, but against that interior, and that awful excuse of an engine, why would I pay 40 grand for this over any of its rivals? (Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, Cadillac, or hell even Chevy or Mazda)? Fine review
MAKE SURE you scream "this is a Chinese phone!" to everybody using a cell phone. Good luck. Also scream "this is a Mexican vehicle!" for all the vehicles made in Mexico.
Take some pride like other people who live elsewhere. Others in another country don't that much trash where they live and my phone isn't made in China.
@@Vsetin9292No it’s not more reliable. Some argue the build quality is higher. Like assembling certain parts but theirs no real proof. Thats a person to person complaint and usually it’s stuff like better “PAINT” 😂 Mechanically speaking the cars are the same so quit lying.
*CORRECTION: I know I mentioned "all new" in this video but this is more so a heavy refresh of the current generation*

I really like the ST with the black wheels and Smokey Amethyst Metallic paint.
Same here! going to investigate in Ontario where I live to see if I can get one.

If you have the money, not everyone is fortunate enough. The Avenir is priced too high for the extra features

I personally prefer the black wheels

The look is reminiscent of the vintage Buicks with the dagmars and gaping maws of historic Buicks of yore. I love it! Great review.
The ST looks really good in the colors that compliment the black out treatment.

I agree! These are even being discounted already so one can get into a Preferred fully loaded for well under $40k.

Love the car i take it in blue with those seats and keep up the excellent work 😊

Thank you for the excellent review. With the rear seats folded down, is there room for a standard bicycle?
I would think so. It's fairly spacious inside with the seats folded flat.

I love the front; the main reason I’m buying one. 😂 To each their own I guess.
Isn't this made in China?
Yes, its final assembly location is in China but parts are sourced all over the world.

At the end of the day. It’s still a Buick.
