This is what I miss the most about the whole “hair bands”. So much fun and energy. When you left the concert You were physically exhausted from having so much fun
I’m only 31 but my dad brought me up on these bands. I’ve seen a few hair bands, but bands in general from then were the best live shows. I’ve seen Poison, Def Leppard, Journey, Cheap Trick, Tesla, Stryper, and so many others.
Such a fun concert to go to. I recently went to the Joan Jett, Poison, Motley Crue and Def Leppard concert. I love every single band and have seen them all before. All put on a fun show. But Poison was to star of that tour. I literally do not think Bret stopped jumping the entire time he was on stage. He just seemed so happy to finally be back out there after so many delays. So energetic and us as the crowd felt it!
I’ve seen Poison about 25 times since 1988 through now and they have always been a fun band with high energy and great shows ! Bret Michaels the lead singer , C.C. DeVille the guitar player , Bobby Daal the Bass Guitarist and drummer Rikki Rocket are the original band members who you can still go see play live this summer in a city near you as they are touring with Motley Crue , Def Leppard, and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts on the big Stadium Tour !
Saw them in concert back in the early 90s, with Don Dokken and Slaughter... one of the best concerts I have ever been to!! I had a huge crush on Bobby Dahl (the only one not blonde)
❤ Fun reaction, guys. Poison is such an energetic band. We've seen them live, 6 times, and they've never disappointed. I read in the 2020 edition of Billboard that they've sold 59 million albums worldwide. Pretty Cool.
This song holds a special place in my heart because I grew listening to it in the late 80’s because of my second oldest sister and because my oldest sister died 3 months before I was born and I’ve felt like she’s been my guardian Angel
If you listen to the studio version, CC is kind of in the background and as the song leads up to his solo........WOW! Like Larry Bird just getting warmed up but you know what is coming.
Believe it or not they had a tendency to destroy their instruments regularly. CC had generic guitars for just that reason because he wouldn't damage any of his custom stuff that he designed. Also, hard to tell if the guitar was damaged as a result of the toss because Brett would toss his guitar to an equipment tech to catch. You can see him do it in a couple of their music videos, but you can also see them smashing guitars and impaling speakers, knocking over the drums, etc. One time they got into a shoving match because Brett and Bobby trashed Ricki's drum set and he specifically told them not to before going on. He talked about it in an early interview.
Totally my fave band ever...the drummer and singer started the band as were friends in high school. In fact when the original guitarist quit to move back to Pennsylvania...Poison selected CC over Slash from Guns N Roses. The history is so much fun. The concerts are still amazing to this day. I have seen them 22 times now and can't wait until next year to see them after last year and now this year's postponement due to Covid. They are intense fun for sure! Thanks for choosing the live version although if you get the chance watch the original version as shown on MTV when they actually played music.
I’ve caught guitar picks and drumsticks but I haven’t been at a concert when they’ve thrown a guitar, but when I am one I’m going to go for it because I’m in the front pit at every show and it will be a battle to the death for the guitar
💫 Suzi you look amazing in pink bandana and the other colours ! Great pieces of music ! Isn't it ?! Thank you for another special reaction and all the thoughts for us followers !
Love this song since I’ve listened to it since it came out to my second oldest sister, and it makes me think of my oldest sister who died 3 months before I was born so she’s been guardian Angel but she was a wild child like me so she’s a fallen Angel with me too so she protects me
So funny for me being the drummer for many bands..Us drummers have no room for mistakes or else YOU ARE OUT! But the lead singers can slip on lyrics/add lib lyrics all the time and it's all good.
LIke them or not, this band had a lot of talent. I picked up Look What the Cat Dragged in when it was fresh and new. Had no idea who they were or what i was getting myself into. Not a bad investment if i do say so myself.
I saw Poison in the late 80's with Lita Ford opening for them and had 2nd row center stage seats and because there were more dudes then woman up front Brett Michaels sang Every Rose Has It's Thorns to my wife. Was a great show.
CC was a seriously underrated guitar play, catchy riffs and great song writing!
Definitely
When he was sober

Truth . Grunge killed it. I still love Alice In Chains but the energy just wasn’t the same
This band was it back in the mid to late 80's. I was born in 1970 so seeing this brings back some great high school memories.
Yes plz more Poison. Something to Believe In, Your Mama Don't Dance, Ride The Wind, Stand, Talk Dirty To Me. Awesome reaction guys.

Came back to say that I’ve been here before and think this is just a real and wesome reaction.

It's very possible that in the final second of throw the guitar tech reaches up and grabs it!
Poison Is amazing band !!!
🤘
This song will bring in generation x

Late to the party but loved your awesome reactions! You both made this the place to be!
They have been putting on great performances since day one. FYI that song led into Your Mamma Don’t Dance…
Yes great hit.
A song that is about finding out just how big the world really is
One of my favorite songs
Crank it up CC
Kickass!
Something to believe in is their best
Love this song since I’ve listened to it since it came out to my second oldest sister, and it makes me think of my oldest sister who died 3 months before I was born so she’s been guardian Angel but she was a wild child like me so she’s a fallen Angel with me too so she protects me
For those who are fixated on the look... They are touring with def Leppard in 2022. That's because of the sound
Fallen angel is a great song by poison
Don’t worry, the guitar survived, it was used for years and appeared in a later video for So Tell Me Why
You guys are fuckin’ BANANAS! 😂😂😂
Fucking awesome song
CC Deville is one of the greatest guitarists
So funny for me being the drummer for many bands..Us drummers have no room for mistakes or else YOU ARE OUT! But the lead singers can slip on lyrics/add lib lyrics all the time and it's all good.
This song and Every Rose has its Thorn is about a girl from my hometown Middletown Ohio named Sue Hatton. Brett dated her for a while.
They sound the same live as they do on tap or cd
I still am suggesting either LET THERE BE ROCK LIVE AT THE RIVER PLATE or MONA LISAS AND MAD HATTERS by HEART LIVE IN SEATTLE
LIke them or not, this band had a lot of talent. I picked up Look What the Cat Dragged in when it was fresh and new. Had no idea who they were or what i was getting myself into. Not a bad investment if i do say so myself.
LOL. guitar safely caught by the guitar tec.

i'm a fan since 1986...
poison, skid row, cinderella, loudness, motley crue, pretty boy floyd etc..
somehow all these hair bands got suck in the 90s.
But their music still holds up today
Did anyone else catch what looks like a rebel flag on the guitar?
Bret❤️❤️
All these songs are about a small town girl..... That's now on the streets
His Tech caught it, as usual. He throws it out stage left.
Travis & Suzi yo boi Pauly D was 16 when this came out 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Should've reacted to the video which has a storyline to the song, and a super hot blonde chick.
Live is better
I like Beavis and Butthead reactions to Poison better, huh huh huh huh!
this world is so poor today u only drop a mic...on da 90's u drop and destroy everything 🤟🎤🎧🎼🎸🎹🥁

Poison f****** blows!!!
Cc devile played for stryper
CC NEVER played for Stryper at any point in career
Poison without CECE DEVILLE the riffs weren’t nowhere near as good
CC Deville is crap on the guitar.
