As centuries of history and life of people buried by tragedy and earthquakes , its the resilience and unwavering hope of mankind that made it withstand and outlived it. My support of Turkey .
It's very, very sad. I had a hard time not crying while watching your video. It was one of my favorite cities in Turkey. It was one of the cities I enjoyed the most while traveling and guiding. With its nature, culture, history, and diversity, it was one of the richest cities in Turkey. I am not sure, I will be able to eat "künefe" again at yusuf usta, "haytali" at Affan, "tepsi kebab" at pöç again. or if I able to do that again, I am not sure I get the same old taste.
Oh, Isa! I feel the exact way as you do, Hatay has been one of my favorite places for the same reasons as yours and it is so painful to see that most of it is gone :(
Anatolia is a piece of land that has been the cradle of dozens of civilizations. Due to the earthquake, the historical monuments of important cities in Turkey, where many historical monuments were located before February 6, 2023, were also damaged. This video will be a historical video that sheds light on the damage table of our history before the earthquake and the effect of the earthquake. This historic task had to be fulfilled somehow, albeit painfully and sadly. On behalf of my country and nation, thank you for your efforts...
I appreciate your comment 🙏 Honestly, we were unsure about sharing the video for so many reasons but as you said, it is also important to highlight the impact of this disaster. It was so difficult to even edit the video but this way we’ll also remember what the place was like 🙏
This was such a great video . I loved seeing Hatay. Hopefully they will recover. Thanks Bery and hubby for taking your time to show us this beautiful historical country.
Thank you for this Video, Bery! I had tears in my eyes watching this Video. Six month ago I was there taking fotos at the same places where you have been, even in the same reastaurant. You cannot imagine how sad we where, when we got a call from our close friend, that they lost their house and all their belongings, but they did survive! Please donate only to ahbap or international organisation that you can surely trust!
We had a hard time editing this video, we were also unsure if we should’d shared it or not, but we believed that it is was also important for people to know about the beauty of this place, its incredible history, welcoming people, etc and how it was before the earthquakes. We met amazing people during our trip in Hatay, some we were able to contact and make sure they were alright but some others we didn’t get a response back, we are just hopping they made it and that they are ok. Just to know that a day before we were still exploring the province, a night before we took our flight back to Istanbul, and at the next day I wake up, grab my phone and first thing, news about the catastrophe, really shocking for everybody. Thank you so much for sharing this with us 🙏
As a Christian i think this place it’s sooo interesting , I didn’t know that 0:39 😮. Condolences to the victims and the ones who lost their loved ones in the earthquake 😢 I hesitated watching this video but I’ll always support you ❤

Hi Berry. What are some of the tips that you would want to give in case we plan to visit turkey post earthquake?

I really want to get to that part of Turkey, after they are ready to receive tourists again, of course.
That would be a great way to also help their economy! We are also thinking of doing that, as soon as it reactivates for tourism again, is a way of also helping small businesses, hotels, and locals who need it the most 🙏❤️

Can we meet in Istanbul?
I could never hold the glass then when I was in Turkiye .... It's too hot to hold it. Without a mug and handle .....I don't know how to drink it 😅
