I listened to SWPS briefly in the early 90s. I remember He Man Radio broadcasting in USB (the manliest of modes), Radio USA, Action Radio, KNBS, EBO Radio and others. I was also a member of The A*C*E. I also had a General Class Amateur Radio License (that exp in 2003). I feel very nostalgic for that time. I remember trying to get back into it in the early 2000s, but it just wasn’t the same. When Allen Weiner pirated 7415 for his legitimate station, it was like the end of an era (for me). I sold all of my radio stuff circa 2011 on eBay. Thanks for the video. I sometimes wonder if there’s still any activity on the SW bands. (What with society’s ever increasing move to the digital.) Thanks again. 73
I always enjoy your Halloween pirate videos. There were alot of good stations this for the Halloween weekend. 73 and thanks for the videos. de Dennis KD9LVR
Always look forward to your Halloween pirate radio video report Larry. I had to stay at work on Halloween so missed the radio this year. Best wishes from England 73 M0DAD David
Great video Larry! I used to always look forward to re-broadcast of Orson Wells War of the Worlds from 1938. Cool seeing that SDR software working! 73 Kevin
I always love watching your videos and getting to watch the Halloween pirate radio activity report especially getting to listen to XFM thanks for sharing Larry can't wait to see more ham radio content from you in the future especially Halloween Pirate radio activity
@@RadioHamGuy You are very welcome. Nice to see a fellow pirate radio chaser. Thank you. It's the first time I didn't have to sell a radio...or multiple to buy one. Now I feel like a real ham. Talk with you soon my friend. 73 from the mountain out west. 😊
It was great to hear that you were doing the relay, I know Redhat apprciated that very much, I just chatted with him tonight. Keep up all the great work there!!
Cool video as always, have you ever watched the CB'er named Dino Davila On UA-cam? His "just got down" cracks me up. He's an old time CBer who is now a silent key, he was also a ham operator, he likes to have fun with the Hobby and tells it like it is, the videos are pretty old now but his memory still lives on.
Always a pleasure listening to XFM thanks for sharing as always

Looks like XFM audio goes out to around 13kHz. Might need to write an SDRUno plugin to decode CQUAM :)
Great video!!
New to shortwave. Didn't even know this kind of stuff still existed. This is so awesome! 73's from West Michigan.
