The best part about this bike is its comfortable seat, and designed nicely to not allow your ass to move all around the shop like stupid sports bikes of recent years, half the battle is not twisting your back on the new bikes.
@@simoneperri1220 yeah I rode it to work back in 2019 and it was comfy as but dependant on rider height I found at 5'10 ish I was getting leg cramps around the 30 min mark. not sure if that was the bike or tight clothing
@@jeffelliott3439 AHahaha bummer, yeah leg cramps are nasty, im not sure if my bike had an adjustable shock on the rear, i dont think it did, was probably not the original shock for all i know.
this was my first fast bike. i hate myself i totalled it. they dont make that old kawi growl anymore. not a slouch too considering its age. could do 60 in first easily.
It is a great bike, easy to maintain, gravity fed fuel tank, only thing that can go wrong is valve adjustments, cam chain tensioner , carbie issues and ignition coils (rare) , new bikes you have : Fuel pump, ecu , igntion coils , fuel filters, sensors , injector problems, cam chain tensioners, overheating because no room in the frame , a million things to unbolt just to access/diagnose/ repair a simple problem.
Nice sound great classic that there is one on eBay now £500 no bids jus needs tax and test I'm mad I don't have my garage anymore I've not had a bike in 2 years miss it so much this summer i hope I still can find one very rare in England now thees classics
my 85 did that from day one at low loping idle put 60k on it never ad one failure bike was bullet proof but that slap of chain sounded awful I set idle up so it did not do it

Do you think it may be a good bike for medium-long trips?

@@simoneperri1220 no I ride this bike now and after fifty kms u feel it ..unless you set the adjustment on the mono shock under seat
