Thanks i just came back to reply that i backtested it on EURUSD on the 4H candles and than the 5min, but wasn't very profitable. Will try it with the 1D candles and 1hour. Thanks for the valuable content and the knowledge you share 👌

Great Video man, one question, is this method valid for smaller caps where there may be less hedge funds, banks, big finance companies, etc? I am not doing well, all my trades slaps me in the face.
Haha Slaps you in the face that's hilarious, Your problem could be your stop loss is way too close or you're watching your trades too much. Place it and walk away. Or you could just give up, trading isn't for everyone.
Have you tried and identify the sectors or asset that are performing best in a current market and only trade within those sectors or asset classes. example, if real estate or energy is currently performing best, trade something within those areas that meets your specific trading criteria and avoid everything else.
I gave this a like because it made me laugh 😂but seriously in the end it comes down to experience, you can keep trying different things until you find the one that works or you can find someone to guide you.
Tell me the TF(Time frame) you trade? Some traders love the 5 min while others think it's too unpredictable and prefer 4hr or Daily. Whatever. So if it's the 1 hr then you need to know what the next TF above it is doing (trending up or down in the near future: very important). Now draw a diagonal trend line...don't ask, figure it out, it's simple. Next, is it overbought or oversold? This is directly related to the trend line. This is when you buy or sell and the simplified version of what you need to work on asap or you're done.
What you need is enlightenment, read more books on the subject, Have you heard of the Pip quotient formula? reading this strategy book for example it is all you need trust me.
Nice video. We need to scann many pairs in order to get a D1 opportunity traded in H1 and we potentially need to monitor 23 hours to get a valid signal if there is any.
Proportionnaly H4 would work better using M15 instead of M5 for confirmation.
This is called an Inside Bar strategy. I would trade it in both D1 and H4 just to get an inside bar alert and find something to trade.
On H4 I would trade it from near SMA20 following the bias.
If you trade on MT4 or MT5 look for that "Inside Bar Indicator" at least you can be notified when that event happen.

Nice and simple. Mark out high and low of inside candle on 4hr chart. Then when 4hr flips switch to 5min wait for liquidity grab on one side of high or low of 4hr candle . Candle close below the low Then wait for momentum reversal in opposite direction then look to enter in the premium or discount area of reversal leg then target opposite side liquidity on 4hr
I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. So far I love your videos! They are very informative and to the point. I would like to draw your attention to a thing you do sometimes, you adjust your charts size over and over while giving examples. You zoom in and then zoom out repeatedly. It seems more of a fidgety habit rather than a necessity and it is distracting. Again, your videos are super useful and I am glad I discovered your channel.
I have tested it for several days in the v75 synthetic index and it has worked very well for me, it has all the logic taking the liquidity of the daily highs and lows

Spectacular Fakeout Strategy, just few questions:
1) as far as 4h is x48 bigger than 5min should we use 30min in combo with Daily?
2) should we only trade with the trend? And
3) what your (backtested) winrate ?
I just backtested it on some of the stuff I trade and Ive gotta say it very much works on all the samples I could find that match the requirements. 30 mins should be fine as well as 5 mins (30mins let you see a bigger portion of time). Obviously there is going to be an expectation of a trend to form in the opposite direction from where the price is violating the daily range to fake people out (BSL if u go short or SSL if ur looking out for a long trade.) But other than that this isn't a breakout or value gap strategy so you aren't particularly looking for a trend on the daily chart when spotting the two candles. They need to be next to each other as shown, you trade within the range of the second one.

Thanks a million for this video. Please do the entries have to be within the ICT kill zones? Because on the daily time frame, the fakeouts can happen outside of the kill zones? Also, the shorter candles that we mark out, are they called Harami candles?
Only thing you have to scan through all the pairs for a set up as it’s not a daily occurrence but a decent strategy

I really, REALLY, like the simplification you put into this.
Though I have one tiny remark: Your last example at 10:30 is a bit misleady, that "it only takes two Candles to hit TP"... This is a news event! (You can even see it in the TV Chart, on the USA Flag Symbol). Something like that can backfire hard, so please pay attention what you do, or maybe avoid trading at all, like ICT preaches on certain News Events.

Are we gonna do the two previous candle to mark and not the ongoing candle ?
Tested ithe 4h->5min version on EU chart in a period of last 6month of data and it end up in a red, taking only KZ setups. But tested also the daily->1h on last 42months of data and it show a positive +20% score, thats good, but the setup formation is adequate to daily TF , I am mean it forms once in a while.

How do we know when the set up is invalid if it’s already made a fake breakout and reaching tp? I mean how many times we can wait for a fake break out and enter at retest for a single D1 candle already marked?
I am Backtesting this strategy now on the 4H inside bar and 5m entries. Looking to do about 50 trades. Testing on EU. Will test other pairs later as well once finished with EU. Personally just looking for a 1:2RR as that is how I aim to get in and out of the market, you can go for higher RR if you’d like. I’ll update here once I’m finished 😁

My findings is that it occurs more at consolidation phase. 3. I observed it probably will become longer of one can hold it. Some retest the lines severally before going off, what's your take on taking profits in different levels?

That’s because demo account is based on principle of the market. In demo account, your technical analysis always work out, if it’s going high it will keep going high until trend is broken. If it’s falling same way till it’s broken.
But In Real Account, technical analysis is not enough. Fundamental analysis needs to come in, the News have a great effect on the market, the Feds too, the entire market both crypto and stocks affect the forex market, inflation affects it

If previous candle is low in swing than current candle then will it work?
I watched this video weeks ago but I wanted to backtest first before I comment. I know you said we shouldn't go lower than 4hrs but I have tried this on 15m timeframe, 1m execution and it's working like a cheat code. This is the only set-up I look for on a daily basis. a joke, man!

@@ThatG997 50% winrate, taking at the least 2RR trades. RR can get up to 5 (depends on volayility).
However, these setups work for me during the London session when it's ranging.

@@ThatG997 patience is really key as well. When price takes out any of the lows, I usually wait for it to break the most recent structure then retrace. It's enticing to get into the trade when price grabs liquidity but it's important to wait.
On the second note, don't keep the trade for long as you approach THE NY session.
On the third note, if price doesn't grab liquidity on either sides of the range, do not trade at all. This Will enable you not to fall for inducement.
What pairs are you trading? So far I've only tried Gold and it's not very successful using the 4hr TF with 5 min entry
