I know I heard Kai said before he loved watching JJF's progressive surfing.
I like that these Hawaiian greats of this era have a lot of respect for each other
beautiful edit. only thing i might have added was when kai was describing a waterman to add in a line about taking care of the ocean too, not just enjoying it. i am sure he does, just would have been good for people listening to be reminded of that part.
Every year i come back to this video with the hope that youtoocanwoo release that song

I am sure there are more than a few definitions of what a waterman is. I appreciate all the different sports and think they should be included. However, the definition I always aspired to included free diving and being able to dive deeper, hold your breath longer, but most importantly be the one who consistently returned to the beach or boat with dinner. Mahalo.

k can someone please tell me how the freakin Hydrofoil works? I always think theres a little motor on it. How in the heck does it keep going?
like a glider only with water? speed gets you lift, lift gives you the ability to move with the swell get's you more speed gets you lift etc.
