Hahaha 😆🤞
woohoo 51 minutes long! You're spoiling us =D
🤗🤗🤗
Hey Fern, I have been loving your vlogs for years now and your regular uploads recently feel like a dream come true. Just wanted to tell you that I really appreciate it. 💚
Wish you a happy sunday and hopefully a bit more sun the next few days. 🌻
Thank you so much for this 🥹🥰🌞 it feels so good to be regular with the vlogs! And it keeps me motivated to hear how much you enjoy them.
Loved the longer vlog! I hung out with you while I watered my plants, brushed my pups, folded laundry and changed my bedding. Always such a treat, spending my Sunday mornings with you. ✨
Binging both of your channels for the week. Love your vlogs ❣️💋❤️
Every time I’m at my beach house in south jersey, I get all excited-blow up my paddle board-paddle out into the ocean and immediately start to internally freak out abt what is below me. I thought this was insane-but it’s good to know I’m not the only one scared of god knows what under there
yours are my most favorite vlogs now on youtube, it always feels so cozy and comforting for a fellow introverted homebody like me 😅🫠
Rebecca is really good, one interesting thing the author does is she doesn't name the main character you never know her name.
Girl math: Bought books but I actually have gift cards for later so it’s free 😅
Lmaoo 🤣 exactly
Cheerios have a harmful ingredient in them!
I don't recall the specific ingredient but I've seen a few articles in the last couple of weeks about it!
Worth looking into further if you buy them a lot! ❤ I know you're very health conscious so figured it was worth mentioning!
It is a pesticide, chlormequat, found in Cheerios and Quaker Oats (and other oat based foods) as claimed by Environmental Working Group. They suggest buying organic oat products instead. I don’t buy Cheerios or Quaker Oats anyway.
Goddamn 😳 it’s my boyfriend who mostly eats them, but I have been eating Quaker Oats so that’s good to know 😩
Buying organic would be option if you don’t want to give up oats. Know you guys eat mostly organic as a rule. So should be easy transition.
❤❤❤ How often do you change your nail polish Fern? I just ordered some Mooncat for my bday and I can't WAIT to get them and try it!! Btw...Love all the book hauls and reviews! Keep them coming!
Ahh - exciting! I change it once a week 😃 that’s usually around when it starts to chip/peel, and it gives me a nice self care routine 😊 thank you for watching x
I also have the encyclopedia of faeries! Can’t wait to read it!
Omg - i didnt realise my fave planty youtuber had a vlog channel. Weeeeh got some catch up to do incoming weeks :D❤
Hi Fern! If you like sci-fi thrillers with sea creatures I highly recommend you reading "the swarm" by Frank Schätzing. "Whales begin sinking ships. toxic, eyeless crabs poison Long Island's water supply. The North Sea shelf collapses killing thousands in Europe. Around the world, countries are beginning to feel the effects of the ocean's revenge as the seas and their inhabitants begin a violent revolution agains mankind. At stake is the survival of the Earth's fragile ecology and ultimately, the survival of the human race itself." Plus, one of the main characters is a zoologist from Vancouver. It's a long book but has really the pace of a movie and you are like 👀👀👀 on the pages.
Love to see how much you enjoyed Educated. I got it after I saw you reading it in your last vlog and gave it a 5-star rating so quick and easy! I can't stop thinking about it. Thanks!
*edited after I saw what you said about her mom writing a rebuttal book! OMG WHAT! Draaama
Have you ever watched stephen kings movies 1912 and big driver??? I loved the books so much ❤❤❤❤its not everyones cuppa tea but i loved them
Honestly, who does not have Daddy issues?! 😅
I just finished Piranesi. Thanks for the recommendation, I really enjoyed it!
Thank you for hippin me up to Educated!! I agree with you- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ all the way! Did you know her mom put out her own memoir after called Educating? I can't even think about reading that one after reading educated.
Loved your vlog! 💕And hearing about your new reads📖. The good part reminds me of the film 13 going on thirty, and the the first one you mentioned, reminded me of the biblical story of Jonah and the whale. 🐳
Honestly, I wouldn't waste your time with Survive the Night, it's terrible. The rest all have redeeming qualities, but to me there was nothing good about Survive the Night except the premise
We are gonna need pictures/video of Noah Kahan. I’m going in May and I can’t wait. My daughter is going to bawl her eyes out the whole time. She cried and cried when I gave her the tickets for Christmas. I can’t image she’ll be able to keep it together when he’s in person 😂
Just read Emily Wilde's and LOVED it. Hope you do too.
I wish matcha would be tasty for me... Ps. I read Glass Castle this year qctually and it was very moving and very deep in my eyes. Also so contrasting - all the bad contrasted with childrnes unconditional love... so sad, omg. I have two 5 stars reads already this year and this is one of them.
So I got into reading only a couple of months back and was literally looking at both Whale fall and Emily Wilde’s encyclopaedia of faeries just the other day in the book shop. If you like the sound of Whale fall, a book I read in January that was in a similar category is called Our wives under the sea. It was the first book I read this year and it was so interesting ❤
OMG twini!! I’m currently reading the housewife’s secret!! 👁️(And loving it, let’s just leave it at that)
ahhh amazing to hear!! 👏
I love Kristin Hannah but i didnt love The Women, unfortunately. It was too romance-y for me. I'll be curious to hear what you think of it.
You are very beautiful and you have beautiful hair, grow your bangs longer
I definitely recommend The Glass Castle! It was required for one of my classes, and I absolutely loved it - couldn’t put it down. I didn’t know that there was a movie!
Another great vlog, btw :) The vibe of your channels is always spot on 🫶🏻
Yesss the movie is with Woody Harrelson and it’s so devastating 😭
I literally said this just as you did. You should have stuck it back in for another 20 minutes😉
We as spectators don’t really know what happened in her childhood. Someone knows the truth and it’s not us. I don’t have any reason not to believe her but on the other hand I have no reason to doubt her mom or family members as well. Kendra Wilkinson wrote a book, and her mom Patty came out and said she was going to write her side of the story but I don’t know if she ever did.
I love your content!, could you please share your skincare routine?
What’s your Goodreads? I’d love to follow you, seems like we have similar taste
Did you use a tooth pick to make sure it was fully cooked? That's the key when cooking loaves!
Hey, thanks for the video.
Long hair suits you very well. You look like a fairy 🧚
Best compliment 🧚 thank you!! 🥹
I bet the lemon loaf would have been good if you pan seared the slices in "butter" to get a crispy edge and finish cooking the inside
You could have just put the lemon loaf in the oven to bake for a little more.
Loved waking up to a new vlog 🙌🏼💖✨ happy sunday
If you love creepy deep sea books the Deep by Nick Cutter is a good one
29:19 HELL YEAH🙌
📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚
You will love Legends &Lattes!!!!
Omg I’m just reading the reviews of the Mom’s rebutle book on Good Reads and it’s crazy.
I was watching while doing my nails 😂
I loved the audiobook of Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries. Excellent narrator, she really brings out the humor. I loved listening to it so much that I went immediately into listening to the second book. Hope you like it! 🩷
Try making bread! Very Zen😊
as a avid reader, i love the book content!!! will you join the magical readathon Orilium in april hosted by G at Book Roast?
ahhh so glad you enjoy books too! and I haven't heard of that readathon, but I'll have to check it out 👀
@@cozyplantlady11 it's sooo much fun!!! the readathon is magical school based with it's own world... it's so imaginative... there's a video on how to start, if you are interessted
Is it undercooked
Thank you for the book recommendations and turning me onto Mooncat! I love your new shade!
Ps: part 3 to Housemaid comes out in June. I can’t wait!
Oh no way! Just checked and it releases on my birthday - how fun! Thank you for watching 🥰
I see a book (or books!) on you bday 😊
I'm slacking on my Goodreads goal this year.
Thank you for making my day 🙏❤️
My pleasure 😊 thanks for watching!
Next time you bake a loaf, stick a toothpick in the center and if anything sticks to the toothpick cook it longer, in five minute increments. Best of luck!
thank you!!
Hi from Germany! Thank you for all the work you do, your videos (both channels) bring me so much joy and inspiration! The way you described Whalefall made me think if you might like ˋThe Swarmˋ, written by Frank Schätzing. (Although written by a german author parts of it take place on Vancouver Island😊) It is incredibly long and it takes a few dozen pages to really get into it, but it then transforms into an insane page turner. I have read it three times😬 (I apologize if you already mentioned the book and I just missed it)
Wow!!! What an amazing scene, taking Olive and Cadance for W.A.L.K!!! Just stunning!!!!! So much nature. Love it!!!!! I can see why Olive can't wait to get out there. Look at her little tail wagging with excitement!!!! How long are her walks, half hour or one hour? 'Whale Fall' - A man gets swallowed by a Whale, only to resolve Daddy issues. Sounds interesting!!!! Noah Kahan concert will be great!!!!! Love the MoonCat nail polish!!!!
Hey!! Finally get to watch a video again!! 🎉 I love hearing your thoughts on the books. I have that Sager book on my TBR and Educated has been on my TBR for a while. A friend was reading it a while back and told me about it.
Omgoddess I loved the scenery on your walk!! So beautiful! 😍
You’ve totally inspired me to read more this year! AND to collect physical books. I typically listen to audiobooks. This year I’ve made a little reward for myself - when I finish an audiobook (and if I loved it), I purchase it for my collection. I’m also only buying them used from thrift stores or my library used-book store. 😊 My kids are voracious readers, and I’d love to have a library of excellent (adult) books at home when they get older. ❤
Ok I put a hold on The Last Time I Lied. I read The Only one Left on your recommendation, and I really enjoyed it even though that’s not normally the type of books I read. So I’ll try this one and then I may have to read more of his writing!
I’m down with the flu today, so I was very excited when I turned on and saw a Vlog! I also have shingles, so this is getting my mind off of myself. Thank you!
I just borrowed the audiobook from Libby, thanks for the recommendation! Gonna start it tomorrow. Love all your beautiful plants! My husband just found me a Ring of Fire at Walmart and I’m stoked!
I saw Demon Copperhead on your shelf. That book is SO good. Heartbreaking and incredibly sad, but fulfilling in the end. A really unique writing style as well.
I just finished ’The Great Alone’. I really enjoyed it! I got through it pretty quickly because I liked the writing style so much ❤
I'm sure it's been said... but next time you're baking a loaf the recipe almost never gives enough time. So, when it's supposed to be "done" take a toothpick or wood skewer and poke in a few spaces, of it comes out clean, it's done!
omg yesss so glad you enjoyed Educated so much ❤️❤️❤️ sooo so good!!! ✨ needing to tell you that I am reading Crying In H Mart from your recommendation and am loving 😇 had no idea author Michelle lived in Philly and attended Bryn Mawr College!! i also attended Bryn Mawr College and really love hearing her story and the Philadelphia anecdotes ❤️
I'm not a super active o fast reader, I tend to lose focus and/or interest sooo easily BUT february and march have been very active months for me thanks to The Brown Sisters series by Talia Hibbert ❤ I had such a great time reading this trilogy that now I'm kinda trying to not read so fast the last book (which has not been easy since, so far, I think it's my favorite 🥺). Looove Talia's writting because it's very witty but also because she really tries to include so much representation in her books and her characters feel so real and relatable. I cannot recommend it highly enough 😊
Been enjoying the vlogs so much 😊 would love to see some more garden planning! Also love seeing your different nail colours - you inspired me to place an order on Mooncat, been obsessed with the shade Garden of Evil 🥰
Fern, i just love watching your video you have such a beautiful completion what do you use on your face.
Use a chopstick to check if your baked loaf is cooked before taking it out of oven.. if there’s still mixture or crumbs on stick cook an additional 5 minutes and check again.. oven temps vary.. but it looked delicious and all I could think of was some lemon icing drizzled on top 😂
I just started and finished encyclopedia of fairies yesterday, I listened to the audiobook and in tandem read the book haha so fun! I adored legends and lattes it was such a cozy read!
I was at the used book store in the nonfiction section and thought of Educated since you were reading it, told myself no way I'll find it. Sure enough I look up and there it sits! Can't wait to read 😊
My daughter LOVES Noah & Taylor….. you remind me of her in so many ways ❤️
Love love your vlogs❤, you are so funny
😁 thank you haha!
I was just looking at some pillbury receipes and one was a lemon recipe. I can’t wait to go to the grocery store to get a lemon 🍋
Yay for Olives tooth brushing 😢🥺🥰
If you haven’t started it yet, then you can’t say you’ve read it…yet!
housemaids secret is gooooooood
Eeeep 🙊
I love Kristin Hannah. One of my favorite authors
28:47 this music! I love ❤❤❤
..iz sooooo good!!! & when it’s going for a minute and the saxophone comes in…
@@saramarie9455 yass!!!
Def read the glass castle! It’s amazing 🤓
Ohhhhhhh yesss I needed this 🥲❤
enjoyyy 🤗
The good part book you mention reminds me of the movie Click with Adam Sandler, check it out, it's a good one. Also, when baking, if its undercooked, just put it back a few more minutes. You can typically tell if it's ready if you stick a knife/toothpick in and if it comes out wet, it still needs more time, if it comes out mostly dry, it's done. 😊
Ah yes I need to check better next time lol! I poked it with a fork to check, but I guess that failed me 😂 thanks for watching 💚
Oh my Fern, the one who plays Priscilla in the movie “Priscilla”, looks so much like you, I seen her and said,” is that Fern is she an actress also, lol but she is your twin, I swear😊
Cailee Spaeny is the actress name😊
Where is that super cute green sweater from? 😊
Love your videos! ❤ Have you read Lanny by Max Porter? I think you'd like it since you liked Piranesi!
I haven’t 👀 definitely interested!
Hey what's up Fern I missed you hope you're having an amazing Sunday💯💯💯💯💯💯🎉🙂👋👍👍
Hey Jason! Thanks for watching & Happy Sunday to you!
Love Rileys books! Shari Lapel is another favorite.
Yes!! 🙌
what was the thing in the water?
An otter 😆
