Hi Christa, I am Jo and I am originally from the West Coast of Scotland now living in Surrey, I learned to crochet last year as I love being crafty I also knit, diamond painting and book folding, love watching you tutorials have learned a lot from you so thank you Jo
Beautiful poncho, I definitely need to make one. I really loved the trip to the museum. Thank you for sharing so we can all travel along with you and your family.
I love the granny squares you showed. I really like the shadow box granny square which I think was the last one. Very pretty! Love the poncho, The colors you used are my colors. Enjoyed touring the museum with you! Very interesting!
OMG... I totally dream of doing that trip.... one of the things i found out when i found you. One day Christa....I am having and episode 42 retro morning. After all 42 was the answer to the question of the meaning of life! 🎉
Love all those beautiful blankets behind you, I think my favorite grannies are the mitered and the double daisy love them both if their not fancy I'd have to say the solid granny.
That was super interesting! It would be amazing to visit and tour that museum. Christa, you could design all the birds of Kenya and make your own book! 🤗 As for a fave granny, I don't really have one. I like solid squares or fancy, lacy ones. I'm not a fan of weaving in ends to be honest. I wish I could get my hubby to do them for me LOL.
Hi krista, i absolutely love hexagons.when i was patchworking some years ago before my eyes went they used to call me the Hexagon Queen around the traps.well now i crochet because your wyes dont need to be as good i still do hexies sometimes, its the best shape in the world.i love your poncho by the way, im a 70's girl i do have a few and 2 in granny squares.Sandra in oz
Popcorn. I love granny squares just don't like attaching them all together. Lol. I loved the museum that was a lot of different birds. I was laughing so hard when you was looking at the birds and thought the colors would be good in crochet cause I was thinking the same thing. Lol great minds think alike. I love when you take me with you to different places it makes me feel like I'm part of your family. Love you too pieces. 💖💖💖
Autism granny would be great, I would be on that straight away as my 12 year old granddaughter has severe autism and I’m sure she would love a puzzle piece blanket, she does recognise the autism sign so it would be fab 😍😘
Hi Christa! I am quite new to your channel (joined a few months ago) and currently catching up on all your podcasts and videos and since 42 is my lucky number, I wanted to finally introduce myself a little bit. 🤗 My Name is Kat and I live in Germany in a cute little house with a big garden with my boyfriend and my adopted cat and adopted dog (gsd mix from Romania). My grandma (god bless her soul) first showed me how to crochet but I was an impatient 7 year old girl so I never got past the foundation chain (and boy, did I produce A LOT of them 😂). I got back to crochet when I was in my early 20s with a 2.5 mm hook and dark blue yarn (clever, right) and stopped after more foundation chains. 🙈 In my early 30s I finally checked out the UA-cam crochet community and learned what to do with the yarn AFTER the foundation chain. 😬 I am hooking away since then (for about 5 years) and love love love it. I think my grandma would be proud. 😊 I enjoy your channel and think you are a really nice person with a lovely family. Love your out and about videos. The museum tour was awesome! Stay this way and keep the positivity flowing. 🤗 xo Kat
Awe! Thank you so much, Kat Crochet! So nice to meet you!! Your home in Germany sounds dreamy!!! Glad you have moved on to larger hooks and thicker yarn! xx
