This is the next level in foiling, cant wait to see what’s next. Seems like he has it motor higher on the mast than other videos of foil drive i have seen. Using it just to get on foil for downwinders is awesome. I would love to try one. Some days just aren’t good for winging. Larry
This thing is so epic. Ordered it as soon as it launched
Outstanding possibilities
Foil Drive is opening up the ocean so we can leave the lineup behind. Just be sure to practice safe foiling by riding with friends and/or carrying a reliable communication device, etc
I am in!! I ordered mine to arrive in the following shipment ⚡️
Welcome to the Foil Drive family :D
Epic system!
love it
Epic!!! The possibilities are endless. Once I have fully mastered my Gen 1 in all configurations that will become my e-foil one and I will be looking for that Gen 2 in a year so. Love the company and people top class.
I’m in 🎉
James. Are you on the Max 3prop on big waves and Slim 2 prop on the DW? Thx
So sick 👏👏💥 sup down winding is now dead 🤔😂😂
How much does James weigh, out of interest? Trying to guage how small a wing and board this can handle with my weight.. Epic video thank you
so awesome ! how do you measure the height of the motor? and does the mast length has an importance? Thank You 🤙
his one might be worth a read :)

@@foildrive what length is James using here??
sorry just read the other messages, 15cm! awesome that's what I ordered.
That was awesome! I like the Sunova Casey Pilot board. Your description says 4'5" 38L but the website for Sunova says the 4'5" board is 32L. Is it closer to 38L or 32L?
They had a slight change in production versions, I believe this is James' proto board
It is a 32L prone board, similar to production
same as production :)
Epic riding as always! Pod height please? 20 or 15cm?
15!
What mast length were you using and what pod height?
Assist MAX with the Code 85cm HM Mast, motor at 15cm!
Is he riding the max or the slim here?
Opening up the ocean...in australia!
Beware of what lurks underneath, you still won't be safe out there
Sooo sick!! If I bought the 20cm can I push it up a bit to be 15 as well?? I'm having 2nd thought.
id like to know this too! I ordered the 15cm but that would be great to shift it down 5cm when you want to motor out
@@skyrisphotographyand3dvisu343 I ended up changing my order to 15cm.. I understand it possible but would great additional drag and decided to take whatever I use the most.
You're correct, you could but it would add a lot of drag and could case unnecessary tension on the cable. If your order ha snot been fulfilled, you can email us and we may be able to update it for you depending on it's progress@@Yanivkahana
@@foildrive Thank you, already confirmed with the shop on the 15cm 🙏🙏 can't wait to get it
hey! any update for the 15cm review? im going to get one, and not sure which is the best.
