Thank you for finding the video! You have a keen eye!! I have ordered a custom size mirror and adhered it (removes cleanly of course) to the top of the drip tray with thin rubber padding. This was so that I can see the bottomless portafilter with the intent of seeing the espresso come out of the bottom. Unfortunately, when I place the scale and cup on it, it is almost impossible to see it. I had to settle and buy a small pivotable mirror like everyone else to do that. Surprisingly though, the mirror has advantages so I have kept it. It is easier to clean, as I have developed my routine to virtually elimiate any water or espresso from dripping, and if there is any it is much easier to clean with a quick cloth than to remove and clean the dirp tray. Also, it looks cool! Anyways, let me know if you have any questions.
@@miwa.4013 when I saw that I thought what a great idea. I am picking my cremina up in Germany this Xmas. I save about $1200. If you didn’t have the scale could you see the shot? Or should I just get the cremina angled mirror?
Is that a piece of glass underneath the group head?
