You'll probably be doing a monthly/bi monthly cleaning of the shower screen and re-greasing of the piston gaskets in a year or two. It depends on the water and the amount of scale it contains. The last few months, I've gotten a slight powdering of scale in the Molycote which gives a slight leak after a month. I did a full de-scaling + re-greasing yesterday so, I'm excited to see if the piston seals can hold for more than a month. If so, I'll have to incorporate de-scaling more often (or use water with less calcium).
