Herping in south of france, these are the single most difficult herp to catch since they are so fast and shy, usually all you see is their dust trail. If you come anywhere near them they dart away, mostly up a tree. Very cool if you manage to get one in hand.

I can't even imagine trying to catch one in the wild. I could never! lol

Hi! Thank you for this video, very informative! Funny that I learnt about Jeweled Lacertas only today. They seem very suitable for having as a pet.

I’ve had my female for a couple years. Got her as a hatchling and put her in a 40g and I definitely don’t recommend that. She was stir crazy even when she was tiny. I quickly upgraded her to a 5x2x2 with 6 inches of substrate and she’s done great. Mine isn’t handable and she thinks anything that moves is food including fingers 😂

I’ve learned substrate is key, they are a burrowing species even though rarely advertised as such

Miniature monitors, another good protein is the canned shrimp from flukers when I had my fist male went nuts for it. He lived for 9yrs after bought already at full size. Recently acquired a toddler female will test my theory

Random question. Have you ever tried shining a black light on your rainbow boa to see how it looks? I only asked because I did on my boa and it looked cool

I know what you mean when my bearded dragon hagrid passed away I was a little worried about getting another beardie to, but I ended up rescuing another beardie anyway because she needed a home and I had the resources so I couldn’t say no and plus my life felt empty without a beardie

Hey I was having some trouble finding facts from fiction when it comes to humidifier and then I though what better person to ask and you answer all your comments!!
My question is im about to get a baby Brazillian Rainbow Boa here in the next month or so i have a big cage 4ft tall 4 ft long and 3.5ft width. Im wondering if using a fogger to keep humidity levels is a good idea or not ive heard different statements on yes its good or no it causes RI but is this true for all snakes since BRB need high humidity? It would be on a humidity controller so it would keep it around 85-90% and im also going to be using ceramic heat bulbs which would further dry everything out? What would you suggest for this?

Hey I just subscribed to you bc i"m thinking abt getting a bearded dragon if my apartment allows it. However, I went to a pet store yesterday bc I heard they have bearded dragons and I was appalled at the way they were treating their animals, it was borderline abusive i think. I really think they should be reported but idk how to go about doing that and i know peta isnt always the best place to report to. Do you have any advice?

Why do you Americans still talk about "gallons". What is important is the measurement of the surface. I have had Timon Lepidus for many years and the smallest I can recommend is 200cm * 90cm * 90 cm (6 * 2 * 2 feet). Less than that is not okay.
