Sound up, juicy beaver farts

Beavers build scent mounds to mark their territory. When the mound is done, it gets a good christening with a squirt of scent from a gland. Quite fun to listen to and to watch them do their marking. Listen for the juicy fart sounds and the grunting.

Outstanding captures of beaver behavior! I spent a lot of time around beaver in Upper Michigan. They are a magical creature. We have them here in Eastern Washington as well, but in very slim numbers.
