Hi Japanese girl and artist here.
Art is art, if you want to carry on our traditions do it.
Doesn't matter if you're not Japanese art doesn't discriminate
If you're passionate about that art learn it and do it.

Thank you for sharing this story. It helps when you find similar people who have those moments that “it” just clicks. Inspiring and motivating.

Enjoy looking at these kinds of talks on traditional woodworking and how much can be done without metal fasteners and the amount of skill and learning it has for joinery.

There most definitely was not a lot more happy places for everybody in the 1950s. In fact, there were way less happy places in the 1950s for quite a few demographics. Obviously, Jay Van Arsdale did not think very much about that comment before he made it. It should have been edited out.

Everybody in America in the 1950s was far wealthier than anywhere else in the world. It was democrats in the 1950s and 1960s that were pushing the KKK agenda and it is they who are to blame not everybody in America.
      I hope that helps Julia.

@@bighands69 so what party do you think the Dixiecrats turned into? The republicans. And yeah, sure during Jim Crow EVERYONE was better off?!? Is that really your point? Do you know so little about actual history to think the contemporary democratic party is based on the foundation of the modern republican party? You demonstrate that you have no idea what you are talking about. Its sad.
