Finishing your patrol late at night, everything is quiet and silent in the server room. Suddenly you hear fast footsteps and a light goes off... You try to keep calm and remember your training as you walk backwards to a corner, staring directly to the terminal and holding your AR with shaky hands. A fast shadow moves in the corner of your eye and your augmented reality HUD goes wild with movement signals so you shoot your honey badger aiming at the darkness with no results. And then you look up; three green glowing eyes staring at you from above your head, you try to shoot the bogeyman but it's too late; the creature falls upon you grabbing your neck and taking you to the ground, and the last thing you feel is the cold steel cutting through your neck as you shed into nothingness.
The classic mode of Spies vs Mercs on blacklist is so good, don't know why people don't play it, can barely find any matches. Meanwhile on blacklist mode you can't even leave spawn as a spy on some maps, and then spies are using that op smg to kill you in a second using smoke and sonar vision, that mode is more of a deathmatch than hack and hide nowadays. The player base turned blacklist mode into death match cancer where you can see your enemy through walls. If you want fps shooter games there's way better options out there that involve actual skill. They drifted way out of the stealthy genre with the blacklist mode. There's not even stealth involved anymore, it's just a spy sitting behind a wall or a smoke gunning you down like he's a merc.
I really enjoyed this video. Its very well made and I really appreciate being taken back to the spy vs merc multi player chaos theory. This was the most exciting time when xboxlive first came out and playing this game. Just the music alone in the lobby menus was so cool. Please bring back the real hide and seek game play on Xboxlive servers!!!!! Spy: Hold '⚪' to speak to enemies 😏 Grabs merc... Pick a number between 1 and 5... Enemies Radio: ... guesses wrong Me : breaks mercs neck
Attention old school PS2 vets: We are still playing SCCT (Splinter Cell Chaos Theory) online! you don't even need to own the console. you can also play via ps2 emulator on pc. join our discord to get setup! discord.gg/2gQgMAg
You should do an analisis of a better stealth PVP experience: MGSV fob missions , also can be played in combat lethal mode. Suggestions of utub channels : sigzawa, ojrlir, memozakaria, supra Phoenix, bossbarboss,Xx apo xX , Strange Area, FILANDRIANOS ,Old jedi. I hope with those , more recommendations pop up, thanks
half of the video you were talking about stealth games in general and the second half was just a quick overview of the "Spies vs Mercs" mode, sadly I never got to experience this multiplayer mode and I was hoping to at least get the idea of how it felt playing this, but this video didn't deliver this :/ it feels rushed, there is no analysation of the mode and no recreation or describtion of how it felt. (I'm aware that you can't get any new footage of this mode since its dead/no support anymore)
guess i grew up platforming and rpg'ing with pixels. it took some practice to get up to speed with modern games that are less arcadey and more clunky and slow and 3d
"careful execution" -> Shows Blacklist gameplay

This was so good! I wish I got into Splinter Cell sooner.
i realize it is kinda off topic but do anybody know of a good site to watch newly released tv shows online ?
That last clip was so pinnacle svm. God I'm liking the video just cause that.

Thank you for watching. Iconic multiplayer! I miss it too - Alex
Great video you have a new sub. Stealth multiplayer is a niche then companies need to attack
Thank you!
We need another splinter cell asap
I 100% agree. I was so bummed we didn’t see Sam Fisher at E3 :( - Alex
Great video
Thank you so much!!
We deserver a spy vs. Merc game in 2023. SvM was so unique, it's a damn shame it never took off.
Now I want to play splinter cell again
SAME! I’m dying to play. I grabbed Chaos Theory on a steam sale recently and am excited to dive back in!
Chaos Theory in high res/high fps is a treat.

Fantastic Video could you analyse the old games :3
Love thief
One of the all time greats :$
I’m sure there is a more modern online game that is basically nothing but the Spies vs Mercs mode.
1st? I'm hype. Love your vids btw
Thanks so much Caleb! Really hope you enjoy this one. Very happy to finally put out a meaty video on stealth. Let me know what ya think!! - Alex
OK Beast was great. You content quality is not reflected in your sub count. It's better than most well known UA-camrs
Your encouragement is really appreciated :)
OK Beast *Low key think you're a top guys undercover account, just felt starting a noon account 😂*
LOL *pulls out the tin foil*
Good video

I'm not sure. I think the spy from tf2 is real fun to play.
For sure!
It just came out on xbox one but no spy vs mec!!!
I know. I'm super bummed! I believe there are a few ways to work around it via LAN, but it isn't ideal.
OK Beast if u want to play it enough you’ll make it work
i'm not the best at stealth games
How come?
