Love that you showed those two hiccups in the cowl and that you decided to leave them in 😊
Your colour choice for the Andrea Shawl/Cowl is so beautiful!
Love kobo! Gotta fight against the Amazon monopoly!
I love combination knitting! Not only did it help me with neater ribbing, but it solved any tension problems I used to have with visible changes on garments where I went from working flat to joining in the round. 🥰
GIRL ! I SEE THAT THRONE OF GLASS COVER ! Crown of Midnight is the second book, and the next book, Heir of Fire, is one of my favorites
I love your new sock pattern! Also, I love the idea of making an e-reader case ❤
I love your e-reader pocket. A few years ago my mother kept losing her phone. I made a pocket similar to yours and added a strap so she could wear it around her neck. Soon her friends wanted them so ended up making several.
That sounds so fun! Little phone sleeves were actually the very first thing I learned to knit as a kid because I could just sew together a stockinette rectangle 😂
Wonderful episode! I’ve been playing with yarn combinations too, in an effort to use stash - so fun!
Congratulations on your pattern - it looks like a great pair of squishy socks!
Thank you!!
I love your Shift Cowl. Now I want one!
It’s so worth the knitting!!
Obsessed with the cowl 😍😍😍 and if you’re planning yarn shopping while in NYC I’d live a mini meetup if your comfortable!! I love your vids so much 🩷🩷
Thank you Jackie! Alas, my mom and I just got back home, but I’m excited to share about my NYC visit in next week’s video 😁
Congrats on your pattern release! They look like some very cosy house socks. I have a few odd skeins of worsted weight yarn that I bought on a whim because I liked the colours but before I knew a lot about knitting, and didn't really realise that if you don't like hats (me) there aren't many things you can do with a single skein of aran weight yarn. I might make myself some super cozy socks to wear around the house in winter. Good job on your first crochet project as well. I love being able to do both because for garments I prefer the look of knitted fabric, but for homewares and toys I mostly prefer the look of crocheted fabric.
I hope you enjoy the sock pattern! Thanks for watching 😁
You tried the combination knitting!! I hope you got to enjoy the experience! I switched to combo knitting full time and I will say I’ve never had such trouble swatching in the past, but still my knitting true love
It was so handy!! I’m likely going to use it for future ribbing, especially when it comes to hats and slippery yarns!
The cutest, cosiest socks! And, do we have a crocheter on our hands now?!?! :)
We might?!?!!!!!
your shift cowl is absolutely beautiful, i just ordered the yarn from Schopple Wolle Ed 3 for this, I find Spincycle yarn way to expensive, so hopefully mine will turn out ok
I’m sure it will! It’s a fun pattern to work on 😁
Just popping in to say I looooove Throne of Glass! It's my favorite SJM series, I plan on knitting the Celaena Socks just to say I have them. I'm also an avid supporter of the tandem read for Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn
Ou thank you for sharing! I did get a shook bundle for the series, so it’s one continuous document…a tandem read might be tough, but I might see if I can time one of them with my public library 📚
the sock pattern release timing is perfect, I have a little under 200 m of some hand-dyed worsted yarn leftover that I've been trying to figure out what to do with
Sounds perfect!
Omg what brioche hat is that? It’s so cute
Your socks are coming along so nicely ! But do you take some special precaution when machine washing socks with mohaire ? I'm quite afraid I'm going to ruin mine. Can't wait for your finished Sibling Sweater too, I'm actually working on a similar version, mine is just a tad greener !
No special precautions! I wash everything in warm water on medium spin, and I make sure to take activewear and knit socks out before using the dryer!
Hi! Great video and pattern. I don't see the technical editor's contact information. Could you please provide Robin's information? Thanks so much.
Thank you for the nudge! I have added her contact information to the description box listed under the Marl Mirage pattern :)
Enter for giveaway: I would like to knit de Lalau shawl. It is been in my favorites for a long time and your version made me want to knit it even more!
Is this for NE knits book giveaway?! I know sometimes the UA-cam app doesn’t switch over well, and I don’t want you to miss out on that lovely book!!
Ok I get the logic behind it (very clever) and I’m sorry for being a negative Nancy, but the word pantry grosses me out to no end. It has been banned in my house because I gag lol we call them cupboards.
That’s fair! Different terms work for everyone!
early!
