At the end of the day we all know that Mariah reached the highest level of vocal abilities when she was at her best. Her discography is legendary, her achievements are out of this world and she did all of this by writing and producing her own music since day 1 . After a few days she delivered great performances At Beacon Theater .

And since this and NYE performances her confidence level has gotten lower which results to her attempting less prime vocal but shes regaining it again tho look up her 2018 vocal highlights she slays live.
@@theonlyexception54 her voice was technically always messed up, she has had vocal nodules since she was a child, she learned to sing around them and with them, wich is why she has the whistle, a darker lower register, her speaking voice is different than her singing voice and can trsnsition from chest or mix to whistle as fast as you can from chest to head. Over the years the nodules have gotten harder due to singing a very demanding catalogue of songs for YEARS and constant promotion, wich didn't allow her to rest her vocals, she also is drinking too much wich doesn't help either, wich has lowered her tessitura and supported range, makes her vocals inconsistant and makes her lip(she also does this when she needs to rest her voice), avoid notes or change the song's key a lot. But she can still sing, it's just harder for her but it always was if she doesn't rest cause she has always had the nodules.

You Know You Got Hot Sauce In Your Bag Swag and Talent When Even Your Vocal Cracks While Singing sound Amazing too.:) And I’m really glad Mariah did not ask that they be edited out because contrary to popular belief, Vocal Cracking Does Not Mean You Are A Bad Singer. And in this case too, it sounds like Mariah may have had a Severe Cold or just recovering from one, so she gets extra kudos from me for not wanting to miss this performance:)
She will always be my all-time favorite artist... Just like a candle, she has shared the best part of her God-given talent to her listeners...
