Great idea with the dowels there eh! I do some taxidermy myself usually buy skull hooker mounting bracket... when my cabin is complete planning on moving my euro mounts there will try this and use one of my interior log columns to place my skull would be more secure that way.. thanks for sharing this video

Thanks. Yeah wasn't my greatest idea but it works well and it's very inexpensive. The one thing is there isn't any adjustment to the angle once the dowel is set. I believe the skull hookers, are adjustable. Anyway, if you get the angle how you want it, it works great.
