Driving from Newport, Rhode Island to NYC

Sunday, October 7th, 2018 - Drove from Newport, Rhode Island down to NYC. Started out by central Newport off the Claiborne pell bridge, drove through town and to the Castle Hill Restaurant Inn for breakfast. Stopped in town a second time before heading to NYC. Drove over the Claiborne Pell Newport bridge(route 138) and connected with 1 North for a short stretch west and onto local roads before merging onto I-95 South down to NYC. Used I-78 through the Bronx and crossed over to Manhattan on the 155th st bridge to bypass the Henry Hudson bridge toll. Uneventful drive, had our two dogs which resulted in occasional barking and yelling.
