Your personality is fun and it comes through on the screen. Good job, I enjoy and look forward to more videos.
I really love that you always show pictures and the name of the light currently in use during beamshots. It's something I always miss whenever I watch other beamshot videos, especially when I've watched it before and just want to skip through to find a particular light, I can do that with your videos very easily. Thank you for going the extra mile, it's appreciated!
Sorry to be off topic but does anyone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?
I was stupid forgot my account password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Achilles Duke instablaster :)
@Kylo Rhys Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im trying it out now.
Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Kylo Rhys it worked and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my account !
@Achilles Duke Happy to help :)
Underrated Flashaholic UA-camr.
Underrated? He's probably the biggest.
Congrats matt on your award lol
damn lumen pusher! :) So where is the local Lumins Anonymous meeting at?
Omg!!😱 ...just used the discount code to buy the FW21Pro. Already received my GT MINI PRO just a few days ago AND a ASTROLUX FT03S a week before that..😬
Wifey is going to 💩!
You're cool as hell man. Love watching your videos.
You go to this guy's house in the middle of the night, you'll end up leaving blind!
HELP!!!..I've just gone down a rabbit hole on you tube. I ride an EUC and the light on the front is very adequate...or so I thought until I watched a EUC video where the guys had torches so bright they lit up the forest 🔦...now I'm looking for a "small" powerful bright torch to kick arse like theirs 🤣. Don't really need one...just want one🙈...soooo confused now. The one you show (100000) lumens sounds great but you say it drops because of heat???....didn't think of that. I know there is no answer to "what is the best one" (we get asked that ALL the time about the wheels)but what do you recommend for BRIGHT and use for a constant hr or so . Cheers
You always put a smile on my Dial,,, like to see you judge a bikini contest with that passionate enthusiasm lol gold!
Great review with meaningful pictures.Especially naming and showing the lights during the beamshot is a big gain, well done .👍
Good video. Unfortunately, every time I see one of your videos I buy a light!
Your best intro ever. Great video Matt
In fact, those 10 second ratings are ridiculous. The ratings should be longest continuous level with with burst mode as a feature. Terrible color temp on the headlamp, and does you forehead heat up?
I was going to buy from your store. I want 26650’s of course . Then I realized I don’t have a way to charge them. Is it built into one of the lights, usb style. What charger do you recommend. Do a video, I didn’t see one on your site.
Hi Gene, My favorite charger is probly the Xtar SV2 rocket. IT will fit most any cell including protected 26650s.
Thanks. Now I can get a flashlight and buy a charger.
Just curious where you got your tritium sticks for the LM10
The ones I have are not real trits. They are some plastic sticks that need to be "charged" by shining a light onto it. They were in the package when Neals gadgets sent me the LM10. He sells trits on his site that appear to be the actual vials, but I don't know for sure as I have not ordered those before.
@@Lumencraft- I know you have a million emails coming in. I really appreciate you getting back to me. Very considerate of you. I also really appreciate this channel. You do a great job man. Your a celebrity over here amongst our light group lol
Still waiting for you to make a portable sun so bright it turns night into day
Going to review any fenix flashlight anytime soon?
the LM10 seems a bit overpriced (ignoring that it's an anniversary edition) considering that the D4V2 ti exists.
I continue to be amazed at the amount of money people will pay for a Fucking Flashlight...
Great video very nice review video. I really like how you walked around in the house with the flashlights. that was very informative ,and the best way I've seen an example of real world use, effectively done. Kudos
I'm a function-over-form guy, but dang that LM10 looks good enough to eat. Too bad it's titanium with tritiums and as such far outside my range.
I'm thinking of picking up that HL3A though. Lumintop hasn't done me dirty yet and I could use a floody headlamp, the one I have is a halfway decent cheapo with a pencil-thin and slightly purplish beam. No, I didn't pick it, it was a Secret Santa gift.
Love my GT Mini Pro, bought it because of the review did a while back. Great little thrower
_Matt has experimented with using a GT Mini smooth reflector on the Pro. Once he perfects it I'd love for him to do a vid to see the throw results._
MAGGOT VOMIT - like to see that too!! Might just swap out reflectors on my mini and mini pro to see what happens
I feel bad for the guy who decides to break into your house. He’s gonna be blind for at least 5 minutes
_I bought this wild looking 13,000 lmn headlamp a few weeks ago. It's definitely very bright, mostly likely not quite as bright as they advertise but none the less, all those 21 modes it's pretty fun to play around with. Just don't get in trouble with the Police with it's Red n Blue strobes. xD_

I have a few flashlights with that red and blue police strobe. They work great at night on your dashboard when you’re driving and want the slow car in front of you to move over in the next lane...😁
"All the cool white deliciousness" HAHAHAHA! I want one, but not for that price. I'll just stick with my Streamlight MicroStream.
Is it nice to wake up without having a bad hair day?
Sent me your led fashlights
I main!!!!!!!
Lm10 and fw12 pro
And fw21 pro are dam nice!
_Would really love to see a throw vid of when ya tried the GT Mini Pro with a Smooth reflector. Great vid as always._
It’s pretty much, “Matt says buy this flashlight” and I do.
My fw21 pro arrive with only 2 of the 3 leds working. Any thoughts on how to fix that? Thanks
I would exchange it. If you really want to fix it yourself, you will need to unsolder the wires from the mcpcb and take it out. There are 3 possible things I can think of that are wrong. 1. The LED was not reflowed to the mcpcb correctly. Basically not enough solder to make a good connection. 2. there is a bad trace on the mcpcb. 3. The LED is dead. If number one or number three is the case you can fix it using a skillet. I have a video on how to reflow solder an LED. Really though there is no reason you should have to fix your own light. Pretty sure all lumintop lights have a year warranty on them.
You are the man!
What is your favorite Water-Proof Torch..??
Hello magnificent Matt 😎💖💰🖐️
Thanks for showing the beamshots. 🤘. Think they'll put the xhp50. 2 in the GT micro?
That would be awesome, but I wonder how much trouble they'd have with temp control and would it be worth it if the output suffers too much?
That's a super great video Matt cool so cool 👍😎
I've been hooked on your videos. Very entertaining and you've got a very inviting personality!!
I want my led fashlights from you
*Matt. If you are ever feeling down; read Job. AGAIN.* ☺
*Cheers.*
Funny you should mention that. I just finished the last chapter again today!!
some impressive flashlights. my daily driver is sofirn SD05 simply because its waterproof down to 100m (using it for diving) and since we are alot of people living by the ocean we have ordered around 30 of them so far.
about 28 dollar, 2500lumen, waterproof, 21700 battery and lanyard.
i needed this adorableness rn. thanks
You always put out a very informative video with what appears to be a true non biased opion which I like. I do have a question for you however. I am a home inspector of ten years now and I am on the hunt for a high quality everyday carry flashlight. I pull my light out of the front pouch of my pants min of 50 times during a inspection and I do 3 inspections a day. I like something that I can focus the beam for looking at far walls of crawlspaces or attics. I currently for the last three years have used the LED Lanser T7 which has sufficed however I fund if I drop it once the button in the back stops working properly. If a rechargeable flashlight would work or a battery pack kind in case I use it up mid day. Anyhow you understand what I'm looking for and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am lost with how many and how detailed all this flashlight world has to offer. Thank you so much for your time in this. Christopher
Am I reading the FW21pro table correctly, the lumens are increased as the 30T cell warms up? Any measurement taken at 30sec for the pro? Thanks!
Do you have updates on the Astrolux MF05 or will you be doing a review on it?
Woooohoooo 10k lumens in tini flashlight-Perfect!) Matt -you are Maniac ))))
All these great flashlights and whenever you see a police officer they have these crummy mag lights. Cop was looking over my fence for somebody running through the neighborhoods and I turned on my light and he had a conniption. What lightbulb do you use !!??? What ? If i was a cop id have the latest and greatest with a back up on my ankle.
Excellent video, and the acting is uhm...ok! (look up "OK" in aircraft carrier landing parlance).
I wonder how astrolux eco3 compares against fw21pro. Eco3 is released today, so no reviews yet, but for 37$ a light with 3 xhp50.2 is interesting.
Kinda looks like the tk17
I have the FW3A and the button is too easy to press by accident. ...on the LM10, is it a bit harder to click or is it the same feel and pressure?
I wonder if they'll make a micro pro. That could almost be an EDC. Haha
LM10 looks amazing with that finish.
Bulky, expensive for what you get.Complex for most. Like MANY from Fenix better
So we're just gonna ignore Matt's huge house and playground?
Love the content, keep it coming
Like everyone dont have a house like that in usa lol
mortuus- BELIEVE ME NOT EVERYONE in the USA has a big house. A lot of us USE TO have a house but shit happens.....
Very funny mirror scenes. Is the LM10 functionally the same as the FW3A?
Matt what do you reccomend for a flashlight for Police duty use. Currently using a streamlight stinger and strion. I want something with a bit more lumens
I like Acebeam L16. They seem reliable, and the dual switch design means you can ALWAYS get turbo when you hit the tail switch. Not strobe or low or some other thing. You do have those options if you use the front switch though.
@@Lumencraft- thanks. I just watched your video on it. Have you tried the L30 GEN II
It looks like the big brother to it. I need to find one that has a duty belt case that looks nice
I wish it had the holster from the nitecore. Wonder how hard it be to make a kydex holster
For plain simple and functionality , I carry the mini maglite with the keychain . Where I live it's perfect as long enough to use the light to find which key and open the locks.
good vid man i really like your reviews, Could you showcase the D4SV2?
Dose the lm10 come with the tritium vials or do you have to go see where else to buy them, looks like a cool flashlight.
haha funny video
Would love it if you could review my favorite flashlight, the nebo redline X
Honestly, I still like my Zebralight SC62w better than the Lumintop FW3A as the ultimate edc light, but it was a premium light at $69 + shipping.
Also a budget edc light should be cheaper than 45€/$45 w.o battery. The quality isn't just there with the FW3A's and they get hot 3-4x faster than the SC62w. Avoid crappy budget lights and do urself a favour.
Best intro ever!
Thanks sir.
Plus a very helpfull video
you are a funny guy,now as these so called EDC lights grow in size to the fireflies and GT mini size why wasnt the real winner of this in the Astrolux® MF01 Mini should have been the winner, true its a little "sizey" but come on Matt seems you discern whatever doesnt involve astrolux, in all your reviews the "real winner" always seems ahem questionable as to what we trying to sell that week versus what product is actually excelling in regards to performance for instance Why in all of your videos is there not one Astrolux FT40? i have all the flavors and for the money are the beesknees yet fail to even get mentioned in any of your comparisons, the new astrolux ft03 mini and on par with the GT mini and should have cleaned up this comparison it IS a 2020 light and an EDC carry, true the LM10 featured is very appealing but for the price a real loser as compared to the mf01 mini, right now im experimenting with the xpl hi v3 mainly convoy l2 and very impressed with these candela over lumens lights again no mention in any of your videos. i am a real fanboy of YOU and love all i have learned but sometimes question your motivation in what wins these comparisons, sorry to spew "questions" but myself and others look to YOU for expert advice, you are "THA MAN" after all.. to maybe compare ALL lights and not just the ones we trying to sell this week respectfully Adam
why have you never done a video on the MF01 mini? the REAL winner of EDC 2020? not that over priced crap you chose? seems you hate on Astrolux ever since they punked out your beloved blfgt with the mf04s and although was a massacre (punked it out bad) no need to carry a grudge, seems you would welcome newer and better lights, you always are partial to the ones you had "a hand in" through BLF forums and tout biased reviews aimed more at lining your pockets rather than the advancement of the sport/hobby . i apologize for my brutal honesty however i think its fairly evident to most seasoned flashlight enthusist thats the case, i also kinda notice you have never once responded to any of my post and/or questions Adam
Fw21pro is crazy, wonder if it can smoke cardboard if placed in sheer proximity of head
I am picking out a flashlight for my mom who walks her dog at night near a wildlife preserve, lots of animals and poisonous snakes & frogs around. I started doing research on flashlights and came across your video on "testing the best rated flashlights on amazon". It is a great video, thanks!! I found the most useful info was your chart showing claims of Lumens verses actual Lumens . Some claimed high numbers and the actual was half that or less. I also liked in this video here where you showed that some lights hit the mark (claims) for only a brief few seconds or so and then start to decline in brightness I think you said to keep the bulb from blowing or the base of the flashlight from getting to hot? I also looked up the 14500 batteries and it seems amazon doesn't sell them at all. Amazon keeps trying to get me to buy AA batteries? So I googled the same battery you have in your the video, (the windyfire 14500) and long story short is, seems to be hard to get that battery, some sites discontinued the 14500 and I read a little about how these batteries might over heat, catch on fire, over charging, stay out of the heat and so forth, imaging my 70 + mom going out to walk the dog and the flash light blowing up in her hand or maybe catching on fire in the house while charging? All that is probably blowing things out of proportion, no pun intended lol. So I am wondering if there is a flashlight that is pretty small that does (not claims) put out around 600 + lumens consistently (not for a few seconds or minutes) with regular batteries that are protected like AA or AAA or is that not possible? After watching your videos I am realizing there is a lot more to this than I was aware of and I could probably keep researching this stuff for weeks or months and thought maybe since you seemed to have done that already you could point me in the right direction or just recommend a couple for me? I want a flashlight for myself too so don't let the 70+ mom comment effect your recommendations, please. Thanks!!!
Do not buy from neals gadgets unless you are willing to be screwed around for a long long time. He is a beat and will beat you to. Still nothing after months of nonsense from him . No merchandise or refund. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
I just don’t like that blank flat spot on the side.. it makes it look like a generic, white label product. My old sipik has that spot (says sk68 on one side, other is blank).. I carved my initials into it with a pocket knife. Can’t lose my sipik lol.. tbh tho, it does have some sentimental value. My dad gave it to me, he resells em locally.. it replaced the 2xAA led mag light I’d recently lost and It was kind of what got me into high end flashlights.. these days, I only really use it as a loaner or for tint comparisons.. ok, enough rambling.. but I know you wanted to hear about my old sipik lol.
What is the continuous limen output of the FW21 PRO. Thinking of using it as a bike light for trail lighting. I wish they would advertise the continuous lumens, because unless I am looking to bling an intruder, or show off my supreme lighting power, the temp turbo doesn't mean much to me.
Oh... how’s the tale switch on the LM10 compare to the FW3A. That’s the only thing about the FW3A that I don’t appreciate is it’s super easy to accidentally turn on
Waking up on a Saturday to an upload from you makes my whole weekend!
If you can please review the nebo mycro keychain flashlight. I bought one for work/edc. For being size of a small keyfob, i think its worth the 25$
Id like your thoughts on it.
Personally i think its a great little light.
You should make video of longest lasting best performance flashlights, with notation on batteries replaceable and rechargeable. Thanks for the info and humor! Can’t laugh enough today!
I can’t believe how much he likes flashlights. What a champ
I really appreciate your channel. You are a true light aficionado rather than a brand aficionado like many channels. They are good because they do showcase the best lights within the brands they like. But the lights you praise are true performers. You educate me one so many brands that I didn’t know existed. Lights with performance that brands like Olight can’t touch.
Hi can you help me I want to build a really good UV flashlight where do I get good UV 365nm LED and what is a good driver for finding rocks that glow ..I dont think I seen you build one
Can you tell me what the amp draw is on the LM10? I just got one and want to get a good battery for it. I have some Samsung 30q but if I can get better capacity with lower amp requirements then I’d like to do that.
Im going down a youtube rabbit hole of flashlights. Im just curious how often and what situations are you in where you use your torch so often? Theres obviously a community around it which is cool, the only situation I can think of is cops/ janitors & security? Loving your vids btw
The thing on the thumbnail made me think it was a military grade pepper mill.
My brain: “Who TF came up with a military grade pepper mill?”
I like that HL3s colour temperature. They don't make many Warm White Flashlights.
Hey hopper, I like to think your love for flashlights came from a summer night when we bought some mag lights from Walmart to go catch crayfish at the creek, and you were not satisfied with the light it put off!!?
What about the energizer flashlights. Are they recommended?
Matt, LED is so passé. More COB based lights. Those are the future.
Is it Chinese?
Love your content bro! Love your excitement.
Love that bit in the beginning! That headlamp looks sweet.
im guessing you dont care for nitecore or olights very much?
my personal favorite light of the year has been the Nitecore p18. its literally been the light ive carried 3/4ths the entire year
I have one torch I don’t know where it is or if it even works.
For EDC I'm a big fan of the S2R Baton II, really is the perfect size for me, and 18650's are my batteries of choice.
Warrior mini 2 here. Great stuff. The tail-button made me finally give up my Baton II.
Why didnt you test a LedLenser Flashlight yet? Im interested in the P7R - very smooth design and at least on paper a good runtime...
Can't you stop the ad you made the video about from playing on your own video
Those mosfets on the cap switch were very nicely done
Honestly I still like my RCR123-based lights for EDC, and single 18650 ones for when I need a little more. I've tried the 21mm cells and they are just too bulky for me.
They're also more inconvenient to fit in a charger.
@@DinnerForkTongue I have chargers that will take the cells, but all the flashlights that take them have USB charging, so it's no problem.
Excellent review as always! I do wonder what your neighbors think though.
I've noticed on a few lights cell temp effects turn on output. Ball ache when you're trying to get a figure.
Wow fantastic light! I’m a huge FW3A fan so I’m sure I will totally love these as well! Love your videos they are always fun and educational on the flashlight topics!
What is your opinion on Olight? I just ordered their Seeker 2 pro because they have a flash sale right now
Brightest flashlight app on Facebook is using your video to advertise.
Hi matt,i'm from indonesia ,review amutorch XT45 please
