@@florihae The Knight has 2 issues I find: the blistering fire rate makes the recoil harder to manage, and it suffers from the innate inaccuracy and damage fall-off that all SMGs have. Honestly, I personally prefer the StA-11 over the Knight even though they're almost the same. The recoil pattern on the StA-11 is incredibly consistent in that it always goes up and to the left, so it makes it super easy to counter and keep your aim on a single target like one of the flying Overseers, whereas the Knight suffers a bit in that regard.
I like the Liberator Pen a little more than the tenderizer vs the illuminate. The zombies go down in a couple of hits no matter what, and the ability to headshot the overseers makes killing them a breeze. Their heads are pretty huge so its an easy target. Plus the extra 10 rounds a mag are nice to have.
Blitzer plus autocanon is easy mode for Illuminate right now. Lightning shotgun stuns them, or outright kills them in a couple headshot bursts. And the Autocannon one shot headshots them all while stunned. Autocannon can also take out harvester's limbs pretty reliably, too. Only real downside is AC takes up your backpack slot. But you basically have unlimited ammo between the two weapons with good aim.

Yes I agree, the tenderizer works wonders against every Illuminate enemy except the Harvesters. Its got high damage and near-zero recoil. 1 full magazine to the chest in short range can kill an overseer and take down shields.
Try the Adjudicator. It's only 5 less damage, and 5 fewer rounds per mag. Still kills voteless in 1 headshot or 2 body shots. In return you gain medium armor pen, which makes it very useful versus Overseers and even Harvesters. Best paired with engineer armor with incendiary grenades. Compensates for the additional recoil and grants you two additional grenades for crowd control. Killing overseers in fewer shots thanks to the armor pen and having extra fire grenades for crowds more than makes up for the ammo reduction.

Because these things don't want me to to crouch or use specific things. I take any assault rifle - I have worst time ever. @@ThePartisan13 Lib Pen only needs 5 bullets to pop heads on Overseers, the reason you need that much ammo to kill them is because you are shooting at their body which with their movement and flinch usually results in lots of different hitboxes being shot at, both arms, chest and maybe even the legs. If you can focus fire on either head or chest they go down really quickly.
I’ve been using the tenderizer and it’s amazing, however the jar 5 dominator can one tap the overseers heads if you can aim good enough, been super reliable
Great video. I do peak physique, verdict, crossbow, impact grenade, 500kg, supply backpack, machine gun turret, HMG. I like the snappy gameplay the tenderizer offers. I'll try it along other high rate of fire weapons.
In helldivers 1 they would scramble the stratagems with glyphs and you would have to memorize them if you wanted to call them in, I don’t mind this new mechanic, makes the game a bit more challenging and adds suspense.

No offense but not even close, at least not in his uploads (which is fine, it's purpose is to entertain). There are people doing no death, no stim, solo diff 10 defense missions without sentries and some absolute nonsensical challenges. Some even, dare I say, use the Constitution.
If the Harvester does target the mines, that means you have a potential diversion card. I like to roll with the R-63CS and the Senator as primary and secondary - MG206 as my support weapon. The MG206 can be a treat against the Harvesters (good amount of knockback) - treat it like a semi-auto and tap some rounds out unless you're getting swarmed then give it a full send.
You should try the impact incendiaries instead of the regular ones. They don't need to cook, so they explode faster, making it easier to get away from enemies
I've found that the laser cannon works really well for dealing with the overseers. I'm going to try out the tenderizer. I feel like the rail gun should work better vs the squids. It feels really weak.
Best gun in the game people who don’t use it have no clue what they are missing out on. Makes polar patriots the first war bond you should buy for just that gun alone
Finally, I'm happy to see someone playing the Tenderizer + Guard Dog + Railgun combo against the squids! It's among my most preferred loadouts against them and the Automatons. 😁 P.S.: I normally switch the Tenderizer and Adjudicator's firing mode to Semi, to not waste their bullets and optimise their damage through precision shots.
How good is the railgun against the smaller squids? I saw that you could two shot the legs (it takes 4-5 shots on the AMR), but does it work well against the walking squids with sticks too or is it better to stick with tenderizer there?

I’m surprised people use the Railgun over the AMR, when it’s so much worse. The AMR one-taps enforcers easily and 3-4-taps walkers once the shield is down
Ive actually found it extremely effective against overseers. Since it has so little recoil it can hit the same spot really easy, especially on the higher rate of fire. Basically a bullet lazer, it still takes like half a mag but theyre down before they can even raise their shield most of the time.
I prefer the AMR to the railgun. it deletes watchers and can reflex headshot overseers. takes a bit more ammo on harvesters, but not charge and less reloading time.
DPS is too low on literally every other AR than Tenderizer. People can say all they want about pen and mag size and whatever else, at the end of the day the Tenderizer is just king of DPS and is really where they should've STARTED with assault rifles. Everything else just feels so underwhelming compared to that 850rpm at 95 damage a shot and no recoil. Even after all that the thing still probably sits in B tier realistically, as it just gets overshadowed by other primaries the devs were honestly just too generous to *cough, crossbow, cough Ehem sorry, something caught in my throat. But yeah, I'm still an assault rifle simp. Thank you for the content 😃
Lib Pen still better than Tenderizer against them imo if you can aim for heads instead of all over their bodies, Overseers only need 5 bullets to the head to take down unless they bounce on the edges. ....Weirdly enough its even kinda good against Harvesters.
Gotta be the pew pews loadout for me against the squids lol, lazer cannon, scythe, dagger, lz gaurd dog, impacts 💣, and stratagems i like cluster/gatling turret, its the most fun if had in ages cycling the weapons to avoid burn out 😊😂

I’ve been using the rover quite a bit, from my understanding it has a mag, and when the mag is out it’ll auto reload on the back pack but I’ve noticed it will eventually run out of ammo on the back as well. You can refill with ammo boxes or resupplies. Also on controller you can press the down on the D pad, and it’ll recall your dog to the back pack if you want to be sneaky or reload it before a big encounter
Given Johan's statement about the weapon customization, it's bound to happen sooner or later. I just want to cobble together a Liberator with a long barrel from the Penetrator, 60 round drum mag from the Concussive, and a foregrip from the cinematic intro, bayonet and maybe a laser aiming module too.
Call me crazy but i prefer the base Liberator over the Tenderizer. I run bonesnapper so the +10 rounds per mag make ammo management easier. Even when I time to reload before the mag is empty i feel it's too much with the Tenderizer

I hope the Illuminate Infantry Units stay as Light Pen enemies. The fact that the Tenderizer is so good against them is really amazing. Compared to how Medium Armour is more so required to fight against the Bugs and Bots I like that all you need against the Illuminate is Light Pen when it comes to their basic ground units. If all infantry units coming up stays Light Pen, while the new Walker/Tank units stay Medium/Heavy, that would break up the core combat loop between the Factions.
Because the Guard Dog with rounds is more effective than the laser one. At least in regards to this faction. It takes out Overseers very quickly and accurately. Tends to headshot them.
I got clown voted on steam forums for stating that the enemies in this faction are bullet spongey. Had people literally wishing death on me. I guess bad timing. It's vindicating to hear streamers, people who play this game professionally and a lot, making the same comments. So much is wrong with the new content from a technical standpoint. Why are people so ready to die on a hill defending this development team's balance decisions? They're just as bad at balancing things as they are adding new things. This team F things up on release and spend ages tweaking things over time.
They’re so easy to fight noob lol All other factions have a built-in defense against bullet spam and chaff clear in the form of real armor that isn’t just a shield or breakable, but illuminate all go down to light armor damage with the exception of the harvester taking a small amount of medium damage to kill If you can’t figure out how to take that and make them the easiest faction in the game by far with their limited roster, then go look at strategies from Helldivers 1
Anything with explosive damage ignores their armor. The purifier, scorcher, explosive crossbow, etc. That makes them way less tanky. MG and HMG also melt their armor letting you shoot the squid underneath through sheer rate of fire. AMR OHKOs with a headshot due to its armor piercing and damage. Their armor takes 80% of all damage until it runs out of hp and flies off. Then you start dealing full damage.
I really hate that the railgun doesn't have a scope, it makes absolutely no sense other than to make aiming it harder than it needs to be. It is NOT a close to medium range weapon. But the autists at Arrowhead aren't likely going to change it ever.
You can destroy the small generators at the propaganda tower with your main weapon, not your secondary one. Why waste missiles that are also harder to hit?

PC player here so I don't know what the button is on controller but it's the same button that you use for the supply pack if that helps.

If you look carefully you can see the spare ammo as a detail on the back pack. The ammo diminishes as the dog uses the ammo.

Why ar dog over rover? Doesn’t seem like it’s doing much in the video
Because the Guard Dog with rounds is more effective than the laser one. At least in regards to this faction. It takes out Overseers very quickly and accurately. Tends to headshot them.
The regular guard dog was massively buffed from increased ammo to medium pen. Plus it always aims at weak points.

AFAIK rover was only ever the pick because it never had to reload. But they buffed ar dog so that it basically snipes mediums for you.

I got clown voted on steam forums for stating that the enemies in this faction are bullet spongey. Had people literally wishing death on me. I guess bad timing.
It's vindicating to hear streamers, people who play this game professionally and a lot, making the same comments.
So much is wrong with the new content from a technical standpoint. Why are people so ready to die on a hill defending this development team's balance decisions? They're just as bad at balancing things as they are adding new things. This team F things up on release and spend ages tweaking things over time.

All other factions have a built-in defense against bullet spam and chaff clear in the form of real armor that isn’t just a shield or breakable, but illuminate all go down to light armor damage with the exception of the harvester taking a small amount of medium damage to kill
If you can’t figure out how to take that and make them the easiest faction in the game by far with their limited roster, then go look at strategies from Helldivers 1
Anything with explosive damage ignores their armor. The purifier, scorcher, explosive crossbow, etc. That makes them way less tanky.
MG and HMG also melt their armor letting you shoot the squid underneath through sheer rate of fire.
AMR OHKOs with a headshot due to its armor piercing and damage.
Their armor takes 80% of all damage until it runs out of hp and flies off. Then you start dealing full damage.
The balance is fine, just drop the usual anti tank for more cc. It’s the same difference between bugs and bots, you’d pick a different loadout.

Your mic settings are absolutely cooked my guy. Gain is too high and it's way too compressed. Had to turn off 4 minutes in, it's very bad.

I really hate that the railgun doesn't have a scope, it makes absolutely no sense other than to make aiming it harder than it needs to be. It is NOT a close to medium range weapon. But the autists at Arrowhead aren't likely going to change it ever.
Sensei Doge would be ashamed. with enough discipline , you don't need any scopes

You can destroy the small generators at the propaganda tower with your main weapon, not your secondary one. Why waste missiles that are also harder to hit?
Grenade pistols have demolition force, letting them blow up the tower
