I watched the OG Sailor Moon growing up, but I didn’t really pay too much attention to the show, aside from the theme song, but that’s about it. Years later I’m rewatching it & I immediately started liking the idea of Usagi being with Haruka because she originally thought that she was a boy, & she did develop a crush on her based on that alone until she & Minako learned that Michiru was already in the picture. You could always imagine them being together in an alternate universe.
