  • Spiritual teacher, Khandro Rinpoche, describes the role of intention on the Buddhist path. This is a subject that is rarely examined in a Buddhism 101 or Buddhism for Beginners manner and Rinpoche examines it with her well-known clarity.
Khandro Rinpoche is a Tibetan Buddhist teacher from the Mindrolling lineage, having received traditional Tibetan meditation training as well as a Western education. Her teachers include many of the 20th century's great masters such as her father, Mindrolling Trichen Rinpoche, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, the Sixteenth Karmapa and Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche.

Here is a link to a talk that Khandro Rinpoche gave called "Practicing in Times of Adversity". It is audio only. www.khandrorinpoche.org/practicing-in-times-of-adversity/
As Rinpoche says: "It is a time of unspeakable fear and disruption for most of the world. During such times of crisis and struggle which arise in our lives, our practice could be one of the first things we turn to."

Gyalwa Drikungpa said: "The Dharma practice of the relative is more profound the that of the absolute. The practice of relative bodhicitta is more profound than the absolute bodhicitta. The Dharma of preliminary is more important than that of the actual part." Khandrola is saying the same thing by her speech here.

Thank you for sharing this precious talk. I would love to translate it to portuguese and to add subtitles to these videos. Let me know if this is possible and I'll be happy to offer my services.
