He's a KC hero now. It's a team game , and those plays matter. A lot. The defense played great as well. San Francisco has a TON of talented players. You didn't hear their names called most of the night. That doesn't happen by accident. Purdy played pretty well, actually, considering the tough coverage.

That was an enjoyable game. It was The Clash of the Titans in OT!!! Amazing how Sports can teach us so much about life. "Our coaches prepared us." Last play was incredible. Great coaching and execution by Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid.

@@albertkint9926 Also dude Mahomes has had good defenses too. The chiefs defense is literally the only reason they were even in the game tonight. If they didn't pick off lamar in the endzone against baltimore and force a fumble as baltimore was crossing the plane for a TD, and strip lamar another time, the ravens would have won that game and by like 3 touchdowns. Mahomes barely put up any points against the ravens.
Winning games is about the entire team and Mahomes is very good but has been lucky to have good defenses and teams this whole time. If the Chiefs defense didn't stop the niners in crucial spots or swat the PAT attempt, the game would have been won by the niners. Let's not act like Mahomes carried his entire team when the defense was very good as well. They shut down CMC for most of the entire game.
I hear the Brady comparisons - that's fair enough. The QB he most reminds me of in my time watching this sport is Elway.
It's the ability to improvise, motivate an understrength or underperforming offence, and if needed, basically drag the rest of the roster over the line. Top lad.
