Incredible! This cenote dive is like stepping into a hidden world beneath the earth. The way the light pierces through the water, illuminating the ancient formations, gives such a magical, almost surreal feeling. It's both eerie and enchanting, and your video perfectly captures that unique atmosphere.
At every new video of yours, it feels like I'm having a mini vacation in one of the most wonderful locations in the world. And I'm learning so much from you guys! This was both entertaining and so SO interesting to watch. Thank you!
Cenotes are really incredible. The freshwater and saltwater blend is amazing, I wonder how that even happens. Such an incredible experience to travel through all these cenotes, they are like another world.
The fresh water meeting the salt water in the cenotes is because it's actually sunken into the ocean. So when you get deep enough, it hits the saltwater table.
What an absolute dream!!! Nature is so freaking amazing and there's something about diving where you can completely surrender and experience yourself as a part of it.
This is such a beautiful place to be. Seemed like completely out of this world place. You guys are so lucky to be able to go such beautiful places and also help us with your experiences. Great one.
soooo fun!!! I love cenotes so much they are so gorgeous! I cant imagine seeing them with snorkeling gear like you guys have! Great video and underwater footage :)
omg I can't believe how deep underwater you guys went! so brave! and when they turned the lights out and it was nothing but darkness! 😳 great video! I'm glad I got to see from the safety of my house! 😆
Absolutely beautiful! I would love to do this someday. Interesting to hear about the freshwater hitting the salt water. You have some amazing footage of this cool experience. @4:48 the shadows make you look like you have a huge mustache..lol The fossils were very cool.
Looks pretty cool - scary and beautiful at the same time. I'd be afraid of getting caught in the decomposing tree limbs... Yikes! Nice to see you are enjoying yourselves. Very therapeutic.🏝
I did a couple of cenote dives when we were in Tulum…amazing experience. Beautiful photos. I actually dove the Pit…cool dive 🤙🏻 Dos Ojos looks like a solid dive as well…gonna check that out next time I’m in the area. Love the bloopers! Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
Thanks so much for watching! We wish the Pit had those iconic sun rays, but definitely an awesome dive nonetheless. Dos Ojos was really cool too- you should check it out next time you're in the area
I haven't tried snorkeling/ scuba diving in life but this one looks really interesting, I will put it in my bucket list. You guys are so brave to dive that deep! I'm a little scared of the darkness under the water.
Oh my goodness, so magical and fascinating! It looks like Aaron has gotten over his fear of scuba diving!! I had a little panic attack at the entrance of Taak Bi Ha.... its weird, I love swimming and the water and don't have claustrophobia, but when I think about going under water through a small space where I might not be able to come up for a breath, I get terrified. Hopefully one day I can face that fear! (And P.S. The bloopers at the end... hilarious!!!)
Those wetsuits are a workout to get on!! lol Can totally see why you would panic going into Taak Bi Ha, our human instincts tell us to avoid those situations. So cool that you got to explore that cenote, it's such a cool place!
@@VeganVoyagers Oh I should clarify, I wasn't there myself, that little attack of anxiety was when I was watching you talk about it in your video, lol!
Omg thank you for this video! Typically I usually see people taking photos right before going into the cenote. So now I know what else is inside! That was very murky at the top from the hurricane. That would’ve made me nervous.
I am now upset that I went to Tulum and never went to a cenote!!! I can't believe how mystical and beautiful they look. They look like huge crystals under water. Not going to lie- the "underworld" actually scares me lol- i think i would be pretty scared doing this! But what an incredible experience. You guys have made so many incredible memories. Awesome video!! 😍
I love the different layers in the pit. But I think the third cenote is probably the most diverse one. And of course the reefs afterwards looks wonderful but isn't a cenote. I miss diving... Funny bloopers in the end!
Wayne would love to scuba dive in a cenote... Too bad the visibility was so poor the day you went. April was feeling her anxiety rise while we watched the blooper...claustrophobia, no bueno! 😱😆
Cenote diving is definitely a unique experience. There is definitely an aspect of claustrophobia though- knowing that you can't get out of the cave if you wanted to... nuts!
Didn't know that the rain affected to the consistency of the water - I always learn new things watching you guys and I love it! I was about to ask what tech you use and then realised you have a whole website about it 🤣 Oh wow, there's a bat cave - the whole time I was just hoping your light stayed on! Looks like a great experience!
Luckily we always dive with a backup light- they go out often enough. Glad you found our tech website! So it's not so much the rain that affects the consistency of the water (outside of the murkiness after the hurricane) but the cenotes are freshwater because they're generally pretty shallow. They're collapsed limestone that used to be an old seabed. So the top 18 meters or so is fresh water, but when you get into a deeper one it changes to salt water. So interesting!
Wow now the halocline layer sounds so cool! Was it kind of scary at first going into darkness? I think I may of freaked out at first but seeing all the rocks would of been amazing!! Bat caves that is so cool and beautiful! 😍💚
Yes it was a little scary! But every new experience we've had with diving has been a little scary before we do it and afterwards we just think it's awesome!
You guys have the coolest adventures. Where do you find out about these places? Do you talk to locals? Run through guidebooks? I love your underwater adventures. Definitely not an everyday experience up here on land. Both above and below the water in the caves were breathtaking. Just WOW! Keep it up!!!
Glad you're enjoying our underwater adventures! We visited the cenotes earlier this year when we were in the area- did the snorkel tour in Taak Bi Ha cenote, so we were familiar with the concept. Once we started diving in the area, people talk a lot about diving into the cenotes- specifically The Pit is a big dive bucket list for people. Overall, we think we prefer ocean and wildlife to the cenote caverns.
Holy!!! This is amazing. I've never scuba dived, but now I want to. Your voice overs are awesome btw, really want to up my game with that, any tips? Just subscribed :)
Thank you for subbing! So glad you enjoy the voiceovers, we feel like it helps to tie the story together (but this one there was no audio anyway, so we didn't have a choice). One tip would be to get into a quiet room and sometimes I'll put a blanket over my head with the camera to record it so it doesn't echo off the walls.

Wow, that is amazing! You are so brave to go as deep. Thank you for sharing this great experience with us and for showing the underworld!
Anytime! We are glad you are watching! We actually want to go even deeper!!
What an absolute dream!!! Nature is so freaking amazing and there's something about diving where you can completely surrender and experience yourself as a part of it.
Yes absolutely! Definitely a unique experience.
Love love love the views from this video! Felt like I was transported underwater! So beautiful!!
Glad we could transport you underwater with us!
This is such a beautiful place to be. Seemed like completely out of this world place. You guys are so lucky to be able to go such beautiful places and also help us with your experiences. Great one.
It was totally out of this world! Super unique experience
Omg you guys are living the dream life. Thanks for sharing this, I am unable to dive so it is lovely to be able to see this through your eyes 💚✌️
So glad that you can explore the underworld with us through our channel
What an amazing experience. Looks very peaceful. Very informative video, thank you for sharing your experience 💚
Thanks so much for watching!

Yea we're able to go to 30 meters/ 100 feet. It doesn't feel that deep when you get down there, unless you look UP haha.
Absolutely beautiful! I would love to do this someday. Interesting to hear about the freshwater hitting the salt water. You have some amazing footage of this cool experience. @4:48 the shadows make you look like you have a huge mustache..lol The fossils were very cool.
Lol that's too funny about the mustache! Thank you so much for watching, glad you enjoyed it.
This is super cool and amazing!! You guys are so brave for swimming in the dark
Definitely a unique experience for sure!
The Pit is my favourite cenote! Wicked video
Thank you so much for watching! The Pit was definitely a super unique experience.
Looks pretty cool - scary and beautiful at the same time. I'd be afraid of getting caught in the decomposing tree limbs... Yikes! Nice to see you are enjoying yourselves. Very therapeutic.🏝
Luckily the tree limbs weren't very big, we were able to just swim over them, but they were so creepy coming out of that sulfur layer.

@@VeganVoyagers Yeah, I got lucky and was able to catch the light rays on video when I was there!
I haven't tried snorkeling/ scuba diving in life but this one looks really interesting, I will put it in my bucket list. You guys are so brave to dive that deep! I'm a little scared of the darkness under the water.
It's definitely a little scary to descend into the complete darkness, but it's thrilling at the same time!

You'll definitely have to go back- the cenotes are a must see! Thanks so much for watching

The sulfide layer is what’s always been a big draw for me to try cenote diving! It has such a mystical feel to it
It was WILD and definitely worth experiencing at least once.
