    In this episode, we share what we learned about the two RV friendly West Glacier National Park Campgrounds during our stay this Summer. There are pros and cons to both Apgar and Fish Creek Campgrounds, and we'll share those and which campground was our favorite. We didn't make reservations very early, so we had to stay in two different sites in Apgar and Fish Creek (4 in total) during our 2 week stay. We'll share how we scored these hard to get spots in a future video. We could have stayed longer, there is so much to do on the lake and some great hikes. Be sure to stay to the end of the video to see some pictures from our time in Glacier National Park!
    We're really excited about our upcoming Adventure in NoMadness, and we hope you'll continue to join us as we share more how to and travel information!

    Thanks for the review. We're tent camping so I wasn't excited about Apgar. But It's what you can get.

    Glacier was spectacular, you captured it beautifully.
    We managed to score (not sure how, one night in Apgar. We were up in the Seeley Lake, Swan Lake area at the time. Getting reservations on the fly can be challenging. Hit and miss. Anxious to hear how you scored so many nights. We also loved the drive coming out of the park on 2 east, spectacular country.

      We just kept looking at the reservation.gov site for Apgar and Fish Creek and kept seeing 3-4 nights availability. People make reservations really far in advance and then stuff comes up and they can't use them .

    Love watching your adventures! thanks for all the great videos. We have a casita trailer and would like to upgrade to a little bit larger fiberglass trailer. I have a question about your escape 21C. I have been reading a lot of complaints when it comes to dumping the black tank. Do you find this to be much of a problem? Just trying to figure out if its a real problem or just hype. Thanks so much and keep the great videos coming!

    I’m new to you both. I wanted to pop on here and say, ANGIE, you look like the sister of Woniya Thibeault. She won the History Channels Frozen Alone challenge. When I first saw you in a video, I thought… “Woniya is doing RV videos???” Love ya both! Cuz it’s all about enjoying the great outdoors ❤️!!!

    Thanks for the reviews. We are going this year to Glacier and hope to get into one of these locations. Question you stated and showed that some in Apgar were right on the road, can you give idea which area that was? Looked like i saw one sign in video that looked like it was in the A40's.

    I've been trying to pay very close attention but haven't heard answers to three of my questions. 1. Does your generator work on the low pressure port on your Escape? 2. What was the problem with your air conditioner in Mexico? 3. Do your new kayaks work better than your previous boat selection?

    • @AdventuresInNoMadness
      @AdventuresInNoMadness  Рік тому

      Hi Doug, sorry for the slow reply! Yes, the generator works off our port on our Escape. Our converter and A/C were on the same breaker. I think the guy that replaced our converter did that and not Escape. Anyway, it was too much draw for the generator. We put a new breaker in and separated the two and now we turn off the convertor and our A/C works great off the gennie. Yes, we love the new kayaks!! Our old ones were inflatable and too much of a pain to blow up and deflate

    Gorgeous country! Question ... were the trees that had no greenery on them that way naturally or because of forest fire? So many of the trees looked blackened. Seemed so sad. And yet there was greenery growing up around the base of those trees. The waterfalls were spectacular, wow. Great info about those two campgrounds, nice of you to share all that.

    • @AdventuresInNoMadness
      @AdventuresInNoMadness  Рік тому

      Hi Ann!! The trees were barren due to a massive wildfire. It was sad but part of the natural cycle of things. I think Glacier is my new favorite National Park! You know, we're going to have to find a way to go camping with you when we're in WA!!
