Clear. If you have Clear and TSA pre, there's no line, no removing shoes and no taking laptops out. I literally walked through LAX TSA in 3 minutes, and never took my ID out.

I like this channel. I’ve seen you tell people how to get out of unlawful/unwanted interactions with police, but tips for dealing with agencies like tsa and airport security are always appreciated. By the way, that’s not to say I disregard your videos covering police. I didn't even know that was possible.
There are cases every day at virtually every US airport. My adult daughter had her purse snatched while she was out of town the night before her flight home. When she mentioned it to the front desk clerk at the airport hotel, the clerk said they often have guests in the same situation. All TSA did at the airport was take her in a room and ask her several questions to see if they matched the available records they pulled on her (birth certificate, credit report, etc)

some airports are switching to using eye scanners and boarding passes and also face recognition systems, the air port i work at still using the ID scanner cause its more reliable... unless your Colorado XD

Forgot to say that if its your home state, they can do an identity check on you which takes about 30 minutes to an hour. Happened to me and was able to get my ID from another party that came later.

Before I had an official state ID, I used my school ID card everywhere I went. Even through airport security. It's surprisingly effective.

I flew with a high school friend when I was 17 and he was 15. He didn't have a permit or school ID (homeschoolers) but he did have a hunter safety class certification... Apparently that was enough 😅
I’ve gone through TSA twice without ID, and honestly it’s really easy but it does take a long time. These are my tips.
1. Make it a habit to always arrive at the airport early. In both instances, I forgot my wallet at home. You will get through eventually, but prepare for long waits.
2. Stay calm. You will get through if you use situational awareness and show calm body language. You are a normal person, so show the TSA officers that you are one. This also helps your mood if you are stressed or bored. TSA will treat you nicely if you are nice to them, and this will help the process move along faster. It will also help in step 3.
3. DO NOT LIE. They will ask lots of questions to confirm your identity. They will also call people you know who can vouch for you. If you don’t know the answer to a question they ask, simply say you don’t remember. Don’t say anything they don’t ask you. Building some rapport with them also helps. You’re not a criminal, so there is no need to feel nervous. They’re not detectives, they’re honestly trying to help you. Lying might turn them into detectives though.
4. Don’t forget your wallet…just sayin…

One time my dad didn’t have his ID and the TSA guys were ofc being TSA guys so not the nicest people ever. One of the identification things was about what cars he had and once the Camaro came up the dude was WAY more friendly (maybe he’s a car guy or sum idk)😭
Just as a disclaimer this only works on domestic flights only. International flights will still require a passport that should be obvious but then again people are stupid so

If the character in the video was traveling (and not domestic as the need for anything that can prove your identity) internationally he'd straight up be denied if he can't present a passport since he'd need it in the destination country and all others along the way (as the only internationally recognised identity document is a passport (though in Europe, for EU citizens only, a national ID card suffices for travel within the EU borders)
What if you lost it or it got stolen?

Omg, heading home from Vegas with my mom, she left her entire purse on the cab. Thankfully, we had medications with her name on them. So they took her aside to do the certification thing and she didn't understand their questions (she has memory problems) and they were like, "look is there ANYTHING else you have with her name on it? An old boarding pass?" and I dug through my purse and found something, so they let us on. Later I realized it was the slip showing we checked her walker for the flight like 20 minutes previously. Whew, I was so glad to get on that plane!
Lol this is 100% accurate. Above all, remaining calm is the biggest. If you leave some extra time it isnt an issue.

Starting next year you’ll need a Real ID even.
For any foreigners, it’s a drivers license except with more damn proof needed. It takes less paperwork to get a passport than a real ID. The whole thing is slightly asinine.

Had my wallet stolen in Vegas trying to fly back to Houston .. no joke they just asked me what my name was then I had to go and do an additional patdown.. the TSA was actually cool about it.. didn’t harass me or anything
