I tried the Indian Creek .555 in my Stevens 301 & Franchi affinity 3 20ga. The apex 9s actually produced a killing pattern out to 60 yards in the 301. Another shell I really liked at 40 yards was the Boss Tom 20ga with 2oz #9s. It’s a killer

Great video and Nitro company put more in the spine and brain but I was surprised Fed smoked Apex! After Further review federal 10 shot is going to allow for more bb’s in the load so not a complete head to head. Just really shows the nitro company been doing this for much much longer then Apex and Fed can’t compare to a company that all they do is turkey loads. Again brother great video!!!!
We we’re very surprised too! We decided to go with the Nitro, The Apex did great out of the factory choke but underperformed from the Carlsons choke, Apex is still a great load just wasn’t best suited to this setup!
@@everydaysportsmen I ordered my first two box’s of apex to shoot Against two boxes of nitro company over two weeks ago. The nitro company was ordered two days later and already got here. Haven’t heard from Apex now they got my money. Plus the endless shooting data and tons of years making ammo. They are the tip of the spear for turkey ammo. An old boy I knew was killing birds with nitro company 20ga ammo 12 plus season ago...

Kind of new to shooting a 20gage only shot light loads through it. Notice it shoots low a 40 yrds. Will heavy load high brass shoot higher at 40yrds. It paterns good at 20 to 25 but 40yrds is very low.

Got Carlsons heavyweight tss 555 and Cabela’s 575 black max also made by carlson.Can’t decide witch one is better for my sons Mossberg 500 to shoot tss loads.I don’t want to open it because I’m planning to return one of them.Any suggestions?
