@@Tentacoool 1st and 2nd games were written by Sam Lake/ Remedy, they're classics, and in my opinion much better than 3rd. You should play them. The 2nd really good.

"He was trying to buy more sand for his hourglass. But I wasn't selling any." Man, I love the first game. If it only had a little more refined gameplay like the second but kept everything else. Remastered/Remake, day one.
Rest in peace james mccaffeey. I hope he passed surrounded by his family and close ones. It might be selfish, but i was hyped for his comeback in the max payne remakes
max is best game protag and max payne is the best game series ever made in terms of story cant wait to see what they do with the remake hopefully its not the defenitive edition debacle

This is the first pc game I ever played all the way through. I still remember how each level is laid out and the enemies that spawn in them. Good times, I haven’t played 2 or 3 yet. Need a new pc for that
You will really love 2. It still has a dark feel too it. I really like 3 but it’s more of a shoot em up. Very detailed gunplay and graphic. 2 though will still have the grimy feel to it and awesome dialogue like 1 does
This game has influenced my life in ways i can't really explain. It set a precedent for my tastes in films and games. A true marvel in video game storytelling, especially for what was only a 3rd person shooter.
Out of all the games, this quote definitely stuck with me the hardest. It will randomly end up in my thought process throughout my everyday life and I haven't played this game in over 10 years.
This quote should have been used in the film. Have to say I really like the film and its tonality, but the only memorable quote is the one about an army of bodies in the river.
the first time i played this, i didnt understand a single word max said during the first half of the quote because of gognitti's loud-ass breathing LMAO
