- Hey everyone!!! Here is the tutorial for the handmade paper fan that I created for my Graphic 45 Bird Song: Altered Serving Tray (video link: • Graphic 45 Bird Song ~... ).
I hope you enjoy the tutorial. Please let me know if you have any questions =) - Навчання та стиль
Very clear tutorial -- thanks! (Although I do remember making these on the playground and at summer camp! Of course we used popsicle sticks and not coffee stirrers -- I don't even know if they had invented coffee stirrers back then -- I think people used spoons! LOL!
I loved this idea thank you so much for sharing. Your awesome. Love your videos
Your tutorial are great! You always make things look so easy to accomplish and if you follow your instructions........ They are. Thank you so much, Carole
This is a great idea. I may make one with my grand daughters name across the front to personalize it for her. Thanks for taking the time to show this technique.
You did a really good job with this tutorial!!!! I really love the fast forward sections because after you showed the instruction we didn't have to watch you doing the whole 12 inches and you made sure that the fast forward stop for any new instruction. Thank you so much!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Very cute and easy tutorial. TFS! Karen
Thanks Leanne! You're a gem for giving us the tutorials!
Thanks for the tutorial. Cannot wait to try it.
Always a pleasure to watch your create, it seems so effortless and easy when you explain. Thank you so much for sharing.
This tutorial was soooo great! I had been wanting to find one so I could make one for my friend that adores fans! Thanks so much!
Wonderful tutorial! Hugs, Natasha
Thanks Leann! This week, I haven't had a lot of time for vid watching. You can bet I'll go back to wach the serving tray video! It looks spectacular!
Thanks again, Hugs. Jess
First, love this. It's gorgeous! Instead of the brad you could secure the wood sticks with a pretty ribbon with strings of ribbon hanging down. No one is going to use it for it's purpose and it doesn't really matter because it's for display, but the ribbon would add even more to your beautiful fan.
Love it - thanks for the tutorial - tfs
Hugs, Lourdes
woohoo! thank you so much for the tutorial, you rock. I just pined this on Pinterest to come back to it after I get the sticks. Big hugs Luisa
Wow that's super easy! I'm sure I can do this....Going to try it. Great tutorial! TFS Love Tamara

Someone is going to comment about this" lol!!! Too funny =D Anyway...thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment sweetie...I really appreciate it! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!! Hugz =)

Great tut, that's how I made mine too but didn't think to use a brad for the bottom :)
Another wonderful tutorial! Thank you....
It's from an album called Royalty Free Music. The song is called: "Dramatic Piano Pretty" =) It's only about 15 seconds long...but super pretty =)
Awesome tutorial Leanne !!! I love this. TFS... Maria

Great video but I have a question, i would like for my Sunday school kids to make this. Do you think this will work if I use string instead of a brad? Less danger.
Thanks I will do just that. Love your videos.
bwahahaha...I know!!! lol...I noticed that when I was editing...but I just left it lol! You all know what I'm talking about lol! TFW Hugz =)
Ikr!! I want to learn how to make termaris fan to so i can cosplay as her. It would be helpful if made one. Its really big. I mean huge. Look it up just add naruto before you put temari
This may seem like a pretty ridiculous question, but would the Crop-A-Dile work just as well as the Big Bite for punching the stir stick holes?
I love this!
Hi, thanks so much for sharing this tutorial! You're such a talented person and have seen alot of your video's with awesome projects! Maybe a weird question but since I'm new to scrabooking, which scoring board do you use as the lines are nice and small. I couldn't see in the video :-( Thanks so much!
verry easy tut:)
Very cute. TFS - Lynn
Hey Luvleescrappin thank u for this video u rock !!!
Hey there...not a ridiculous question at all. Both the Crop-A-Dile and Big Bite are made by the same company. They do the same thing except the Big Bite has a longer reach. Hope that helps =) Have fun!!! TFW =)
this is neat
Love it
Yes...I think string would work...but you would have to tie it really tight so the sticks are held together nicely. It may not function as well as an actual fan though. You could do a demo run first before trying with the kiddos =) Have fun!!! Hugz
Totally cool
hey if it is possible can you make a fan from a show called " Naruto " and make Temari's giant fan i have been trying to find how to make one...... so can you look it up and TRY to make one.
stir stick..lol .. you keep saying popcicle lol... anyway, thanks for doing this, it such and awesome idea as most of your ideas are.. I am going to have to try this.
hugs
Barb
what was your board called? the one that you used to mark the lines on the paper?
Thank you! and this is pretty neat. I'm planning to make these for my birthday because i know its going to be hot that day. :)
hey can you make it with fabric
thanks a alot i didnt have some of the suplis but i made it work
What kind of stocks do you use because I want find long ones
its good.
AWSOME! My new bedroom is going to have an old Japan look to it. :D Now I wont have to buy the fans I'm going to put on my bedroom wall. To bad my mom doesn't trust me with the art supplies. XD
Ah so thats what its called, a brad!
what is that song at the beginning??
For a double sided fan you could do 8x12 instead and fold in half them the ends of the sticks are covered too (;
I know, I know... I just found myself saying stir sticks every time you said it.. only because you corrected yourself in the beginning..I was hoping you didn't take offense to it.. some people you just don't know.. but you're a sport.. have to have a sense of humor these days.
thanks...
Sticks
Question! if you want a design on BOTH sides would you do the same paper step and just glue it to the back?
