- The Pugs are still in Oxford, and today they're at the Kilns (Lewis's home) with their friend, Dr. Michael Ward, author of Planet Narnia and After Humanity: A Guide to C. S. Lewis's Abolition of Man. The conversation naturally cover's Dr. Ward's books. Join us for a conversation over tea at the Kilns as the Pugs speak with him about Narnia and the post-human dystopia Lewis predicted would follow a loss of objective value.

Great, great and much great! What a delightful conversation among the gentlemen. I am putting my sights on C.S Lewis. I am recent reconciliated convert to Christianity. I am glad that I am over my atheism that so deeply costed much of my spirit and wellbeing. Thanks for sharing. Godspeed.
I can't put Ward's book "Planet Narnia" down! I feel like I finally ate enough cereal to send in the box tops and claim my secret decoder wheel. The writing is also quite beautiful.
Thou shall not covet thy neighbors… experiences? My goodness how amazing must it be to sit in Lewis’s home, drink tea and discuss Lewis.
❤
It is always a pleasure to listen to Michael Ward. Thank you for posting this interview. I found it interesting that he circles back to the concepts of dulce et decorum est and to views of contraception. In particular, I found it interesting in After Humanity how George Orwell wrote on contraception.
A brilliant mind, this Michael Card!!!
Thank you for another splendid discussion!
“There’s also a fun connection between “Magi” and “Magic”, but that’s a whole other show..”. YES PLEASE.
"His Ransom trilogy ... never call it the 'Space' trilogy." LOL
My copy is titled : The Cosmic Trilogy, rather than space. I much prefer it
We do desire to be around holy and pious people if we are Christian. This is why I love men like Father Calvin Robinson. He stands up for truth and the gospel, and I am beginning to emulate him in my own life. His holiness draws me to want to be closer to Christ, so that I might make myself more holy. I want to reflect the Lord's holiness in my life.
I love this.
Now we just need to find a way to disguise the microphone!
What microphone?! 😆
