Tips to becoming an alcoholic 😅 excellent
If you're gonna do it, atleast do it safely and enjoyably 😅
I'd say alcoholics enjoy the taste of alcohol like heroin addicts enjoy getting stabbed with needles. Big difference between sipping a glass of whiskey and chugging a bottle of it lol
What he's saying is let the alcohol numb everything and you're good. Always add a splash of water too... helps cut the burn and opens up the flavours. I was skeptical when I first heard this tip, sounded like snobsville but it worked and changed how I enjoyed great whiskys
Glassware helps too! There’s a reason Glencairns are so popular. 👍
What part of a glencairn make the burn go away for new drinkers😂😂😂
I prefer shooter bottles and red solo cups
@@NutritionIana person of class.
Idk if it was just psychological or there’s some science to it but I agree. I like whisky cocktails but drinking whiskey straight was tough for me. Just had some Makers 46 French Oaked in a Glencarin. I was able to pick up on way more while taking smaller sips and enjoyed it quite a bit. Got any recommendations for something bonded with less oaky notes?
@@ScubaSteveS117 Eh Taylor small batch, smell is a huge factor in taste, and the Glencairn helps with that. 👍
GTS might be the best bourbon I’ve ever had
THANKS! I CAN BE A BETTER ALCOHOLIC WITH YOUR HELP 😃
Nice tip bro I literally just found this out after drinking whiskey for years now, i only used this method when some whiskey is harder to drink
I have no problem adding a bit of spring water to cask strength whiskies. A few drops of add water can open up a whiskey and give it more of a fuller flavor. Experiment.
Agreed. Some people look at Cask Strengths as a way to "pick your own proof" 👍🥃
It's best to use distilled water. The various minerals in spring water can change the flavor of the bourbon. It's interesting to try both and see if you can taste a difference.
@@mountsjagreed. I have tried both and distilled water yields better results imo. Now limestone water, or branch, is best and that's why every real whiskey joint in Kentucky has it. But not everywhere is Kentucky 😅
I do that with tequila and vodka also swish it around like mouth wash it’s not bad
Chasing bong hits with shots made the shots easier, I'll tell you hwat.
I drink my whiskey straight, every time
Mum just got back from Mexico and I sent her on a treasure hunt in Walmart….
I scored a bottle of Angel’s Envy and and a bottle of R6 !!!
The R6 is very interesting young whiskey, as being aged only two years.
The Angel’s Envy, for me, is literally three fingers heaven.
The R6 I didn’t realise was aged minimum 2 years, i ignorantly assumed it was aged 6 years when I looked it up online, so when I was given the bottle, I felt a bit uneasy in my decision…but I tell you what!! Once I cracked it and sipped it neat, straight away I was dumbfounded. “How can this be so good?”I thought.
The R6 has definitely taken pride of place on my trolley and I’ve committed to only enjoying it on special occasions as to prolong the 2/3 thirds original volume that remains! 🤣
Try the angel's envy rum finished rye. Now that is heaven in a glass.
Gotta do the Kentucky swish!
just add a little water and the burn goes away
Don't breath if it's very high proof if you get those fumes in your nose it feels like you can't breath.
Just flexin on us with the GTS
I'm sorry. 😔
It's an acquired taste you have to want to drink whiskey and you'll as many say "grew hair on your chest" it's a man's drink
Drink responsibly
Start off with lower proof and work your way up. Don’t buy cask and barrel strength stuff as your first bottles 40-45%ers to start when those start to feel like water go up
Don’t down it like a shot of medicine (learned from experience) drink it like a g cuzn
I chugged seagrams on multiple occasions as a teen, so when I got older and more refined it made sipping on something neat or on the rocks feel like child's play.
Disclaimer...my method technically worked but kids, don't chug hard alcohol
🤣 Words of wisdom.
And then eventually you seek out 120 proof plus bottles because you've come to looooove that burn lol.
Love me some barrel proof.
the burn feels like a warm hug...i love the burn...i dont drink anything under 100 proof
Toughen up, stop whining and do it till it doesnt hurt, like everything else in life
Life does seem to work that way, doesn't it. 🤔
I did exactly that with bourbon one family Christmas get together, now I can't drink it at all, chugged 5 glasses of bourbon and got messed up bad
Here’s a couple of tricks…idk, maybe you shouldn’t be such a cry baby? Sip, sip, enjoy. ❤
Just go straight to sunset very strong rum you wouldn’t even feel the burn 😂 😂
Just open the GTS
How to deal with hard alcohol? Start drinking listerine.
Actually if you just blow out right after taking your sip, you exhale the burn and savor the sip. Just blow out. Enjoy your pour.
Good tip! 👍🥃
Instruction unclear, blew whisky all over my tv and the back of my wifes head.
@@blipojones2114 😂🤣😂Holy shit!! 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂
@@blipojones2114 video or it never happened. Lol. Great one...
That’s exactly what I do 👍
The burn is one of the best parts so if you're complaining about it then you shouldn't be drinking it.
sip
Blanton's is literally just Buffalo Trace Single Barrel.
No
This bleeds "I'm not an alcoholic buuuuuut"
What does men think, of a woman drinking whiskey? I’m whiskey type woman and very curious. 🤨
It's safe to say that the men of the whiskey "community" are happy to see ladies that love whiskey. I wish there were more! Glad you're here! 🥃👍
Or get used to everclear thats what i dif when i became legal
Spoken like a true alcoholic
What's best whiskey for beginners and what u put with it
Redwood Empire Pipe Dream or Jameson Black Barrel. If you need a mixer but are trying to get into straight Whiksey, use a little simple syrup and orange bitters. (old fashioned)
@@whiskeybonded ok cheers
Flexing the GTS for this clip haha, wish I could try it. How much did you pay for it? Haven't ever seen it for less than $1k
I'm guilty of using it for click bait for sure. You don't want to know.
@@whiskeybonded I'd do the same thing if I had a bottle of it haha
@@samphillip9616 🤣😂

The canva app, have you heard of it?
The design is similar to the one on the app
@@Maniseesbothsides Of course I've heard of it, I made this T-shirt with it.... 😳 😂🤣

Dude just open the GTS
Drink alcohol before you drink alcohol
Does this guy have a lisp or does he slurr because he's drunk?
Are you being funny or making fun of someone with a speech impediment? 🤔 Just kidding. I'm drunk.
This is a strange habit to work so hard to pickup.
If you have to learn how to drink whiskey maybe you should pursue a much different hobby.
So training to be an alcoholic
#begginstripschallenge
Or just drink something else if you dont enjoy it....
That fool spit it out right after the take
Is it just me or does he sound drunk? Lol
Some Booger Sugar for sureeee.
How to become an alchaholic 101
is gargling whiskey supposed to be impressive? im 16 and me and my mates raided his dad's alcohol cabinet
i don't even drink tbh
😂 Just messing around. Plus, that was "swishing" not gargling. 😐👍🥃
@@whiskeybonded 😂😂 keep lucky man 🥃🥃🥃
Don't start
What type of water is best to put in whiskey and bourbon to bring out more of the flavors.
Distilled is considered best
If you have to add water then whiskey not for you
