I personally liked it (everyone has opinions and I respect yours!), but I was mainly surprised the person who made the song was able to make Kaito's voice so high. My 12 year old self was like "Ain't know way this is Kaito!"
"A 13 year old killer" is a guilty pleasure of mine... I don't really like the vocals but I personally like the instrumental. I also enjoy trying to figure out the story even if it's super vague.

The worst part about shota shota Island is that someone made a female version USING KAII YUKI (i'm not even kidding a UA-camr named minemi made a list of with these types of songs and right after shota shota Island she put this song, yes the song i am referring too is Loli loli paradise)

Aww no way i love "a 13 year old killer" it speaks to like early 2000s eerie vocaloid songs i think- like when it was more common to just go fully insane w it and focus more on story and vibe than actual song
Personally I like The 13 Year Old Killer for the same reasons that you don't. I feel like the experimental nature of it elevates the horror and sets it apart from a lot of other edgy murder Vocaloid songs. It's in the same vein as Fear Garden.
Also, the worst part about Shota Shota Island is how...nice the instrumentals are. like it has absolutely zero right to sound that upbeat and cheerful. Which, now that I think about it, is also part of what makes it so horrifying. Like you could probably get away with playing this in public at a party or something as long as those around you don't speak Japanese, and they would be none the wiser. The whole song just gives me an icky feeling.
Here's my two personal worst vocaloid songs! First one? Mommy by Creep-P... literally an ear killer. (my poor ears)

Second one isn't bad because of it sounds bad (well except for one part but I'll mention it later) but for it's lyrics. It is called Specimen Girl using Gakupo. Now i love a good yandere song, but this one? This one is personally so goddamn vile. Gakupo kills and practically mutilates his lover, and does some... "stuff" with their remains (like eating their heart). At the end Gakupo makes a sound that is painful to my ears.
havent heard specimen girl all the way through, but i think the main issue with mommy is that daina is nowhere near a good choice for its vocals. it would actually sound really good if the chosen vocaloid could handle a higher range without turning into a drowning elephant

Trust me, there are way better songs with Piko. One of my personal favorites is Piko Piko Legend of the night by Samfree and My Own by CircusP

i had to disagree with you on the last song, I do agree the lyrics are very confusing and might not go no where at all. BUT, what if that was the point of the entire song? I don't consider the last song a bad song more like a very weird yet funny one, but, also very funky and interesting. regardless, great video. I think shota island should be number one, I rather listen to music where it's lyrics are very odd than a song about little boys
Okay so here are my opinions
5: I actually really like that song, I don't have much of a problem with Meiko's high range in this song, then again i feel like Meiko's voice is a more aquired taste, like something that only certain people like (me being one of these people), kinda like Vflower. Also i just find it very sweet and would even add it to a christmas playlist.
4: I agree with you on this, tho i also feel the person who made is a teen who decided to make an attempt at a vent song when they were in a really bad mental state. Overall this song is just sad.
3: I don't really have anything to say about this.
2: Yeah, this song is gross and disturbing and i hate the fact that this is what Utatane Piko has been known for. Althought this is not the only or first gross song with Len and him being a "shota", there are ones about Kagamine Len being groomed his masters or Kaito. The whole weird pervy "shota" Len song thing can even be it's own topic. Disturbing meaning asside, the instrumentals sound like someting from a DS game.
1: Tbh i don't think this was supossed to have a meaning to it, a lot of 80s jazzy songs from my knowlage don't usually have much of a meaning. However i can see why you don't like this song, i'm not a fan, it could still be better and the lyrics could also more creative instead just having Big Al say "Assassin baby cat" at the end of every sentence. I like Lily's vocals though so that's a pro in this song full of cons.
i keep coming back to this video and still get surprised that assassin babycat is WORSE than shota shota island 😭😭😭??? bfr... yeah the lyrics are confusing, but it just might be because the producer does not speak english. The instrumental is a bit repetitive, sure, but i really dont see whats BAD about it? It sounds just fine. Same thing goes for Big Al's voice also sounds alright, yea its kinda weird but his voice can sound a bit off depending on whos producing the song. I know this is all your personal opinion and thats completely fine, but i just wanted to share my opinion as well. Hope thats alright!
Maybe let's not shit on producers who've done literally nothing wrong?? of course, it's different for songs like shota shota island that caused actual real world harm but it's just incredibly disrespectful to be this harsh on producers just doing their best to make music, especially beginner voca-p's
I hate how much l0licon stuff vocaloid producers make like at this point when you hear about another producer making creepy/weird songs, it's not really shocking anymore. I hate it so much omg I could write for hours on it T^T

relatively late comment, but if you're looking for a good song featuring Big Al, i'd probably recommend Dopamine Machine by Ferry! i've liked it for a while and think it's one of the best usages (that I've personally heard) featuring him

I agree so much on stay with me. It has the potential to be such a nice song but meiko should not have been used. It says something when a SYNTHESIZER is struggling to hit the notes. There is a cover using Miku NT that sounds so much better because MIKU CAN ACTUALLY HANDLE THE HIGH NOTES!!! I love MEIKO but as a MEIKO fan that song makes me sad.
