    LOVE IT!!
I am going to make one!
I make leather wrist cuffs and have so many different styles of clasps, chicago screws, snaps, small buckles, etc...
This is so cute, I have endless ideas!
You could even make it as a watch band......
    🤔.... 💭........Hmmm ?
    And even more........
    Thank you so much!

That is a very nice little bracelet and looks quite simple,to make… I have hole punches so no need to use the drill… but I commend you on your creative thinking! When I first saw the drill I thought, "oh boy… drilling holes in leather will make it twist up around the drill bit." Then you show the wood blocks and I was like, "ok now he's cooking with gas!" :) I think I will try to make one of these out of some scrap leather I have….not sure I have a piece long enough to do exactly how you made it, but I bet I have enough to make two separate strips though! :)

A leather punch or power punch would be awesome for those holes if you have them in your toolbox. Thanks so much for this tutorial!

You are very welcome! Do you have any brand/model recommendations for a punch?

You can get one just like this at Michael's with a coupon. It's awesome. I use it for punching holes in leather, metal, wood, whatever. And lots of hole sizes to choose from. You'll use it for everything!

Good video. Thanks! How do you secure your hitch?

Hi Tamara, the hitch I used actually came in two parts: the hitch part you see when you wear it and then what looks like a short bolt that screws in the bottom of the hitch. The leather gets sandwiched between the two pieces. If you watch at about 5:30, I'm putting the bolt portion of the hitch in and then screw the hitch on to secure the leather loop. Hopefully that helps!
If you look close on my website you can see the bolt end of the hitch in the materials pic instructodad.wordpress.com/2016/08/01/leather-bracelet-brass-ring-and-hitch/

instructodad, Thanks for the clarification. I didn't see the part where you attached it to the leather. Great video!

There is an easier way to make this, litterly less than half the time
