Absolute beginner, Yamaha TTR-125. A little experience, RM125 or YZ125.

Honda, Yamaha, and kawasaki are really the best brands no matter if you are getting two strokes or four strokes, mainly because they are the best known brands and are usually pretty reliable, plus finding parts for these bikes are going to be easier and cheaper
