John Deere 310A Backhoe Hydraulic Leak Repair

This video shows how I located and repaired a hydraulic leak near the hydraulic pump on a John Deere 310 A Back hoe. There's also a brief break where I check the farm's game cameras and show some pics of the deer we've been seeing.

I got the same backhoe as yours but not much information can be found about glow plugs. Does it have them? Because I've been using starter fluids to crank it up during cold weather.

Hi Farm Dad thanks for the video. I am having hydraulic issues as well. My dad passed and left me his 310A and I haven't a clue where to even fill and check the hydro fluid. Could you share your manual or let me know where to get one? Thanks

Hi, What would be the procedure to make sure there is no pressure (release the pressure) on the lines before removing the hoses?

Hey what are the odds I can get in contact with you and ask to get some pictures of the front right tire assembly? I bought one and am struggling to find the correct spindle(unsure correct term, it connects the tire to the tractor with a piece on top for the control arm). There’s nothing online and I’ve tried 3 different ones and cannot find the right one, thanks.

Only prob Ive had, is blowing all 3 of the return hydraulic line hoses to the filter, and between hydraulic filter & reservoir. Ive used over 50 gallons of new hydraulic fluid. Screen's clean, filters 10 hours old. Using 350psi hydraulic hoses. So close, yet so far from getting some real work done, very frustrating.

Wow same story here, just bought a 310a thinking it is in great shape, but the reverse started leaking immediately. such a stong machine when it works. Maybe i should have just bought a mini backhoe for the modern mini tractor.
