Happy Sunday DYI Jamie and Otis 🐈💙 my fav is the scones lights 😊 and the jewelry box holder is so gorgeous 😊 so so beautiful DYI decors thank you for sharing have a wonderful week 💙🌈🦋🐈 the clock ⏰ is so cool 😎
Wow, Jamie, you gave me some great ideas! I actually have a medium sized container with shells. I used part of my shells to make another DIY. 😊 You are a great inspiration. Thanks!
INGENIOUS!!!!!!! I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE EVERY ONE OF YOUR CREATIONS !!! WHO WOULD Have “THUNK” THAT THE TOY BALL POPPERS WOULD MAKE SUCH ELEGANT WALL SCONCES 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I am a fan!!!
For the glass and plastic bowl (where you put your dollar tree Buddha), primer works wonders when paint doesn’t want to adhere. It will also save on paint because you’ll need fewer coats of final color.
I love the little wood drawers! I like a little lighter wood tone, so I use a very watered down milk chocolate colored paint as a stain. It looks great. Great idea, Jamie!❤
Jamie, I enjoyed your video. You made some very clever items. All things were rather easy to make, and nothing broke the bank. I like the toy ball things. You turned them into very high-end looking sconces. Thanks for sharing.
Using a flat primer on the bowl first, then applying the faux stone paint works best. I have used this before and and that is the best way to get it to "stick" without all the hassle of multiple coats.
Fabulous collection of DIY'S! I'm going to make several oh these! I think the first will be the flower pot made with the cone! I believe the dollar tree has a larger cone, and I want to use it and put a live plant in it. Thanks for the great ideas! Give Otis some love for me! ❤🐈
I like the loungers. The empty pot the succulents came in could have been made into a tiny fire pit with a tea candle and rocks. Just an idea. Thank you for all your ideas 😊
Hi, I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but with regard to the glass and garden bowl, if you use a primer or paint and primer first, then your desired paint will stick to it a whole lot better. I had that same issue you're having with the paint not adhering. I went to the local paint store, and they suggested that I use a primer first, and then regular paint.... it works very well.❤
Thank you for all of your wonderfully creative ideas!! I wanted to let you know that the BIN brand has a paint primer in a spray can that works amazingly on glass and plastic. One coat and all you have to do is one coat of paint. I hope this helps in the future. Thank you for sharing your great ideas.
your jar DIY reminds me of a reindeer or some sort of critter - might be cute to add some poms as bunny tails for the spring!! Thanks for the inspiration!
Love them all. My favorites are the wall sconces and the plastic drawers you put in your bathroom. I'm going to do those. My bathroom is black, white and gold so I will make them black like you did or maybe white. Stay safe God bless you and Mr. Otis. 😊 Please give him a hug and kiss for Porsha and I.
I ❤ this guy! FIRST of all .. he's a guy crafting...& SECOND....it's all things I would and CAN actually make!! Thanks Jamie ( love the cat who talks when you tell him too😮)
I truly loved the glass and bowl you put the Buddha head into! One tip: why don't you try using a toothpaste tube squeezer on your E6000 tube, so it'll come out evenly, and you can be sure to get every last drop from it? ☺️ Also, I thought the nautical beaded garland was pretty cool, but I think I would have made it longer, so I could have it wrap around at least twice. I think that would be a great look, too. Keep up the awesome work, and make sure to give Mr. Otis an extra treat tonight, just because. LOL Hugs! 🫂
What a wonderful imagination, you have, I can’t believe you made such a neat idea, I Love these Sconces you made, they are so expensive to buy nice ones, yours look so nice, now I know what To look for and I’m going to ,ake a set. Everything you’ve done so far are so nice Love them all. Gonna get a few of the hanging shelves too..THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR IDEAS WITH US.♥️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏
GREAT VIDEO! i love every one of these ideas. And I'm a diy craft lover, but i usually struggle to find masculine looking craft projects for my hubby, bc i also love to give my crafts as personal thoughtful gifts. There are several of these that I'm going to do and surprise him with practical gifts he can use and enjoy in his own personal way. Thank you! I've subscribed and look forward to more of these easy great ideas from you! And i love that you don't edit your little mistakes but let us see how you corrected or changed it. Great stuff! 👍
Hi Jamie good to watch your video. Love the crafts. The jewelry box is so cool. I'll have to try that. Thank you. Give Mr Otis a little pet on his head. Have a blessed week.
The wall sconces you did with the ball shooter thing.....Genius!
